I like these shorts WAY better than the other ones I'd gotten for years. They are a bit more durable, they're quite a bit less expensive, they don't have velcro (buttons instead) , and they have a couple of zipper pockets, which is nice to have peace of mind for things not falling out. Sometimes the zipper tab can get stuck, making them hard to zip/ unzip though.

Nice pair of shorts. Perfect fit, comfortable, flexible. 1)Only two issues: The button holes are not large enough to accept the buttons. About1/8” too small. 2) the zippers are all stiff, don’t operate easily, almost as if they were rusty but not. Will probably try a different color.

Great fit and plenty of pockets. Way better than another pair for the same price.

Fit well , fabric feels great very comfortable. Downside. The sitting came apart after wearing it once. At first I thought I didnt button up the pocket after things were falling out but then notice stitching was coming apart after things kept falling out of the pocket

For reference, I am about 6' 1" or so, and about 190-195 pounds assuming my scale is accurate... I've been wearing the same couple pairs of cargo shorts for probably a decade, but I have lost a little weight so I decided to buy a pair of these to try out. My old shorts were a 40, I measured my waist before buying and my tape measure gave me 38", so I decided to go with a 38 here (which was also recommended by Amazon). I wish I had looked for that big sizing chart before placing my order, because when I put them on, the promptly fell to the floor lol. Now I see that the chart shows a size 38 is actualy waist size 40. I may have sized up even if I had noticed the size chart, because i prefer my pants to be a little loose than a too tight. Oh well, nothing a belt won't help with, but if I order another pair, I may try a 36 instead. With that said, these seem to be pretty good quality. The material is decently thick and comfortable, it doesn't feel like some of that cheap, thin material you find all too easily when shopping clothes online. The stitching feels pretty solid. The pockets are not the deepest I've had, but they aren't shallow and hold my phone and wallet just fine so I won't complain. I bought the gray/green listing, which is somewhere between your normal khaki color, dark green, and gray, which is nice and is a color I didn't previously have. If i had one real complaint (other than the sizing issue mentioned, which was at least partially my fault), it would be that each listing shows a belt, but none of the available options come with one. I know the product listing title and the listing itself both state that it doesn't come with a belt, and I was aware of this when I bought it, but I actually like the one shown in the picture and would have to make another purchase to get it, assuming I could find one. All-in-all, based on first impressions, I recommend these shorts, and would most likely buy them again.
