Seems to be worth the price. I added 3 inches of sand below it when installing my pool. I get a lot of compliments how soft and nice floor is. I am not sure how much this contributed to softness, but I will say it was worth it. Definitely helped limit foot prints when installing liner. Even though I had fine screened sand, impurities were inevitable as it filled and this felt I believe will help protect it.

Purchased this to help protect the bottom of our above ground pool and it has done wonders. Slightly larger than our pool which was a necessity to ensure it would cover the ground all around. Added just enough padding over the rocks that you can't feel the rocks while in the pool either. Light weight, but durable. Easy to unfold and lay out. Would absolutely purchase again.

Very disappointed when I opened the package saw how thin it was BUT my mind has been changed !! Very impressed now that the pool has been filled and we got in. You can definitely tell that there’s a pad and it has a little cushion to it. Very happy with it and would definitelyrecommend it.

I installed the U.S. Pool Supply Ground Shield 16-Foot x 32-Foot Rectangular Pool Pad under my above-ground pool, and so far it has been a very useful layer of protection. The material helps create a barrier between the pool liner and the ground, which gives me more peace of mind against small rocks, roots, rough spots, and general wear underneath the pool. The size works well for a 16 x 32 pool, and it was easy to lay out before setting the pool in place. It also helped make the base look cleaner and more organized during installation. I still recommend preparing the ground properly first, removing sharp objects, leveling the area, and making sure the surface is smooth, because this pad is protection, not a replacement for proper ground prep. Overall, I’m satisfied with it. It adds an extra layer of safety for the liner and is worth having if you want to protect your investment.

The installation was extremely easy, the quality of the product was good, and the price point was great. The quality was excellent to the description, the size was perfect, it seemed to be very durable. Make sure you wear shoes, it is extremely hot once it gets in the sunlight, but So far it’s been great, I’ll review the product again in 5 years when I replace the liner again.

I ordered this “pad” for my 16‘ x 48“ Bestway pool. First of all, this “pad” is extremely thin and feels like regular felt.I had two other people help me unfold this when I was getting my pool set up for a pool party, and there were SEVERAL tears AND holes in this item already, despite ordering it brand new. Unfortunately, since I was having a pool party and the rest of my pool was mostly set up (the liner with the legs and supports) and I wasn’t able to find an item of this size at the last minute, I had to proceed with using it. I have very little faith in its durability due to its condition upon initial receipt. Please do yourself a favor and buy a better quality item from another seller.

Normally, I would just set the pool on the cement. But this is a great product. This product was like very heavy felt, and I am sure that with a little TLC, it will last for years. It kind of stuck to the cement area I was covering, so I had to do some stretching and move the edges up and down to get some air under it as I positioned it. Very easy for one person but my wife helped me. I have a 12' round pool and I have 2"-4" of this showing around the whole pool. The posts are all sitting on the liner as well. Two very good things it provided. 1) It will keep any little grains of sand or rock from loosening and causing a hole. 2) It gave me a totally clean area to lay out the pool. I will definitely use it every year and feel much more comfortable about no holed in the bottom of the pool. Thanks for providing a great product.

This pool ground cover is thick, durable and has made a huge difference protecting my pool and creating greater comfort also!

Not impressed with the quality. Far too flimsy. Normally would return but needed to get pool installed. Last year we used weed barrier which was far superior and less costly.

This pool ground pad is very thin and doesn’t really do much.

Rather thin. When I pulled it up at the end of the season I had grass stuck and grown through the material.
