Whirlpool Supreme Care FSCR10432 Freestanding Washing Machine, 10kg load, 1400rpm, White [Energy Class A+++]

Love the look of this Washing Machine. It has a large drum to be able to fit bedding it. Senses how much washing is in the drum and displays how much Detergent to add to the drawer. Very easy to use. Generally very quiet except when its draining. Has a 'quick 30minute' wash for lightly soiled items, and the general wash only takes 1 hour.

This machine seems very well made. Once I was familiar with it then it was easy to use. I wanted a machine that I could do large family loads in and quiet enough to use in the evening whilst my baby is asleep. It does the job on both counts. I’ve never had a washing machine that was so quiet.

Initially a great washing machine for approximately 1 month before it decided to leak over the new wooden floor that I had put down in the utility room and pretty much ruin it.Seems to have failed around the door area. Really strange - I hope it's a one off. Whirlpool Engineer coming out to investigate next week.Otherwise, a great machine. Very quiet and smooth, properly large 10kg capacity, intuitive and easy to use, all the essential functions you need.Biggest reason I bought this particular model was the capacity, quietness and general functionality (duvet wash, delayed start, countdown timer etc).Downsides: It's heavy, even for a 10kg machine, so not very green to transport. Seems companies are still reluctant to opt for water tank ballast that fills once installed rather than the heavy concrete bricks pre-installed.Takes a while to switch on, there's a 10-15 second delay between switch on and being able to select program.It leaked, but seems I was unlucky since I've yet to see a review from someone that had the same issue.*Update*Engineer came out, and cause of the leak unknown. No reason for it to have failed and no visible damage or issue. So, I ran it again for a few weeks and it was ok. But... inevitably it leaked again. This time I was able to determine with certainty that it leaked between the door seal and the glass. No particular reason, it just gushed. Door doesn't seem to be tight enough against the seal to withstand the normal pressures of washing clothes.In conclusion, a flawed design, do not buy!(Since I bought, others here have had similar issues)

We love this machine! It is easy to use, despite initially appearing complicated so don't be put off by that. The functions are great- we like the way it weighs every load and then sets the time it needs to wash it in!!The door catch seems really good, not clunky at all. I am struggling with what to write here as we think this is a wonderful machine and we are delighted with it :)

Machine number 1 arrived after a short wait. Set it all up correctly, set it on the 95 degree wash as per the instructions. I noticed it seemed to be taking a very long time. It wouldn't drain. They sent their engineer out who basically said it's the pump but I can only repair it by taking it apart. We agreed not too and to get a new machine delivered. So!, it arrived today, brand new and ready to go, the man set it up himself. As soon as the water was switched back on it started to fill the draw, even though it was off!. The valve to the hose which is meant to stop water from the mains pipe doesn't work. I am now left with another dud machine. Earliest engineer is tomorrow, problem is I can't turn the water back on as it'll fill the machine up. So no heating today, my kids and I have to find somewhere to sleep tonight.

Love this machine, it takes far more than my old one and is so quiet. Best washing machine I've had in 35 yrs.
