This camera is easy to set up. The quality of photos is good and the app is easy to use. These cameras connect to your phone using the app so that when you are within the camera's wifi network range, you can view a live feed or download photos and make adjustments to cameras setting without actually taking the camera down or opening the case. This is great for my cameras which are mounted high in trees for surveillance reasons and it would be impractical to take a ladder up to them every time I needed to download images or adjust the settings. very happy with quality and ease thus far.

Great stills and videos. Connects to app easily and easy to setup and operate. Overall a good camera. I gave it 4 stars because it will not continue to record while using the app. It will go back to recording once you shut down the app. It will not do both at the same time.

My first weekend with it hung i ended up with 51 files between a single 5 second video and 2 pictures per trigger while only using 2% of the batteries provided. the day time quality is great! The night pictures and videos look good as well but all depends on how bright the IR light reflects off your surroundings. The app you use to download the files and look at them with your phone is easy to use and downloads files quickly using BT or wifi connection with your phone while also only taking 0.3GB for the 51 files. I will upload some pictures in the future. What a deal for the quality! i already purchased 2 but will be buying more as i find more places i want scouted

UPDATE --- STILL NO RESPONSE FROM THE COMPANY. EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING THAT THIS PRODUCT KEEPS MALFUNTCTIONING AND NOONE IS RESPONDING!!After several attempts to contact the seller I have had zero response. This critter cam keeps saying the SD is not inserted. This has been from the very start, and I have nothing back at all from the seller. It is extremely frustrating to have a new product that doesn't work correctly. Also as other people have said the batteries die quickly too. I would appreciate if the sellers see this that they contact me, I'd appreciate a new one being sent out as this is clearly defective. Otherwise hopefully Amazon will help!

I bought four and initially only one would recognize the SD card.... Swapping them out and buying additional adapters and I was able to get them all to recognize the SD cards eventually but it's hit or miss.... Picture quality is good, easy to use... Shutter speed is slow and not adjustable so seeing a lot of deer butts without fronts... Not bad for the cost... I would put them somewhere if ur afraid u might lose a more expensive one... Also the batteries with them are suspect.. I burned through the entire 8 batteries in 2 months

I love it for these reasons:1) With integrated WiFi, the camera can be accessed remotely with relative ease via a mobile app on a smartphone. The media could not be loaded.  Camera works well after following instructions and using proper settings. Couldn’t figure out what was emptying my bird feeder and now I know. My only complaint is the battery life. The ones that came with it lasted 3 days with the camera set to come on at 6pm and go off at 6am. I replaced them today and they are already down 30%. Not sure what to do other than invest in a lot of extra batteries

These cameras work great and take very great and clear pictures. Highly recommend

Coloco las cámaras en el bosque, en diferentes lugares, y me gusta tener siempre varias cámaras por ahí. Solo una cámara ha dejado de funcionar permanentemente. Era de una marca sin nombre. Siempre fue mi cámara menos favorita, ya que tomaba muy malas fotos.De todas las cámaras que he tenido, este tipo aqui es el que más me gusta. Creo que la mayoría de las otras cámaras (por ejemplo, Crenova, Campark, Bushnell) en realidad provienen todas de la misma fábrica. De todos modos, dentro de la caja todos se ven iguales, en mi experiencia. Esta cámara es diferente, con un sistema de operación diferente, una pantalla más grande, y mejores botones de operación. Más importante aún, este toma las mejores fotos!Esta cámara tiene un campo de visión más amplio que cualquiera de las otras que he usado. Ho acquistato la prima fototrappola BR 693 nell’estate del 2020, ed una seconda fototrappola sempre BR 693 circa un mese fa. Durante il primo acquisto a causa di un disguido sul modello ho dovuto effettuare un reso (avevo erroneamente ordinato il modello BR 695) e devo dire che il fornitore già puntuale nelle consegne è stato particolarmente celere anche nel cambio. Cinque stelle al fornitore!Premetto che l’uso che ne faccio è esclusivamente di osservazione faunistica e solo video.Dunque, perché acquistare questa fototrappola...La macchina dispone di un sensore da 16 MP, probabilmente interpolati, ossia in parte reali e in parte elaborati via software, che comunque rende un’ottima qualità di immagine durante il giorno e più che dignitosa in notturna. Attenzione, non sperate di avere grandi foto o video superati i 5 metri di distanza in notturna. Io comunque ho chiaramente identificato la morfologia di animali ripresi a circa 15 metri. A tal proposito devo anche segnalare che il modello in vendita al momento ha un software aggiornato (V 2.0.19) grazie al quale sono state apportate migliori notevoli rispetto alla precedente versione, in particolare registrazione dell’audio! (la versione precedente ne era priva); aumentata definizione nel video sia diurno che notturno.I motivi principali che rendo questa macchina ideale per il fototrappolaggio naturalistico sono i seguenti:1) I led sono realmente invisibili, essendo la luce emessa nel range dei 940nm (Infrarosso). Questo è fondamentale sia per gli animali che non ne sono minimamente infastiditi, sia per evitare che malintenzionati possano accorgersi della presenza della fototrappola dopo l’imbrunire.2) L’autonomia sembra soddisfacente. Con l’ultimo set di 8 batterie ho totalizzato circa due mesi di filmati (quasi 900 riprese) ed è ancora a metà carica.3) È realmente impermeabile. Ha trascorso i mesi di febbraio e marzo sotto piogge e nevicate abbondanti, e l’ho recuperata integra.4) Ha un foro di aggancio per inserire un eventuale lucchetto (non tutte le fototrappole dispongono di questo accorgimento). Con un cavo d’acciaio che potrete trovare da un comune ferramenta potrete quindi facilmente realizzare un piccolo sistema antifurto. Se qualcuno è interessato, posso dare indicazioni più precise su come realizzarlo.Andiamo agli aspetti negativi:Nella traduzione in Italiano del manuale avrebbero potuto chiedere aiuto ad un Italiano, anziché farla fare a Google Translator.Non legge schede di memoria sotto 8 GBNel manuale “ostrogòto” è dichiarato che la macchina può funzionare anche con sole 4 pile AA, ma le mie due macchine sembrano non funzionare con 4 pile.I sensori di movimento PIR non hanno la sensibilità dichiarata di 0,2 sec. Ma in linea di massima garantiscono un tempo di attivazione sufficiente da poter immortalare i quadrupedi di passaggio.

The media could not be loaded.  First things first. It says in the manual you can use 4 or 8 AA batteries, but it will not even turn on with 4. I used rechargeable ones, but they were brand new and fully charged. I checked. No dice. With all 8 in there, it's all good.Now, I'm not using it to track deer in the woods or anything as big as that. I wanted to see the hedgehogs in my garden. Check that they are using the house I bought and how often etc. I set the camera up on an existing pole, 5m / 16' away from their house, taking in most of the patio and half the lawn.I set the thing up using its menu system. It has a LOT of settings, but is very straight-forward and easy to understand and use. The 2.4" screen and interface are very reminiscent of a digital camera from the noughties. More than adequate for the task.I set it to take photos and video, just 30 seconds of video (it goes up to 5 minutes), although please note, when taking video at night, it will record no more than 30 seconds (to save battery, since the infra-red LEDs have to be on for this to work). I set it to 1080p, set the time and date, and scheduled it to only operate between 23:30 and 4:30. The 32gb, class 10 SD card I bought for it clicks into a little slot underneath. Set it to "On", and the whole thing closes to be fully waterproof.Unfortunately, the next morning, nothing had been captured. Not a thing, but the hedgehog food was gone. Interesting. I changed the timer so that it records instantly and not after 5 seconds of motion detection. Tried again, still nothing. So I figured the little blighters must simply be too small to pick up from that distance.I moved the camera, strapping it tightly to a large potted plant on the patio, about 2.5m / 8' from the hedgehog house. Tried again. Bingo, it picked up two separate incidents of activity. Took 3 photos and a 30 second video each time, like I told it to. I attach the video. It was in 1080p, I have shrunk it here for filesize.The only daylight photos or video I have taken with it were when I was testing it. I didn't view the files other than on the camera's tiny screen, but they looked pretty decent to me.Overall, I'm very happy with it. It has survived two VERY wet days, practically torrential rain on one of them, and has proved as waterproof as promised. It has a lot of versatility in it's menus, so you can set it up just how you need, and it's very easy to do. I'm very happy with the footage and photos and hope for more.It comes with a USB lead, one of the methods of extracting files, but does NOT come with an SD card (class 10, maximum 32gb). You'll need to fork out another £7 or so for that, along with at least 8 batteries. The batteries last at least a month.All in all, happy with it. Seems like good quality and great value to me.
