One of the best Osprey backpacks
I have 65l classic osprey but this one is a perfect choice for shorter faster trips. Perfection!

Great big day pack or small multi day pack
Using the pack to carry a big load, up to 40 lbs, for a unsupported long hike where I need to carry upward of 12 liters info water. The build in front soft bottle pockets helps offset he weight in the back. Very comfortable pack for big load. November 2025 update: used the pack for a 36 hours, 100 miles hike through the Utah Canyonland desert without any water source. This pack performed fantastic! Once I started consuming some water and the total pack weight is in the low 30's, I was able to jog and the pack did not bounce.

Excellent accessibility to water and snacks while through hiking
Excellent fit and function. Super easy access to my snacks and soft flask but yet I can carry more backpacking items than a regular running vest.
