Just like the liquid form this product is great! I like that it stays in place where needed.

Thought this product would be thicker and stick on the hoof faster. I used it in two cracks on one mares front feet. Took 10 minutes to dry but it really kept the crack from growing and my farrier says it stopped any more moisture from getting into the crack. It improved the hooves we have used it on

I love how well this treats my horse's thrush! We live in a wet and humid climate, so I felt like I had no chance in maintaining my horses feet since she lives outside. It took about a month with Hoof Mender and I see a huge difference. I wear gloves because of the smell, (once you touch it, you smell like it all day) but it is worth it! The putty is easy to spread and pack into creaves that thrush just loves to hide. I feel like it stays on better than anything else too. Btw, I've used popular products before this - we all know the brands - and they didn't hold a candle to this one. I've already bought my second container.

Bad thrush in the central sulcus, contracted heels, apply liberally weekly to the frog. Built back frog and closed central sulcus. Continue use as a preventative. Smokey smell, apply using disposable glove on dry hoof soul & frog surface, easily washes off with soap & water. Stays packed in the hoof collateral grooves. Store jar with plastic wrap under lid to keep product from drying out. Highly recommend, especially for horses sensitive to copper sulfate treatment.

I’m using this with sheep. We live in Hawaii & it’s frequently wet & muddy with subsequent hassles with sheep feet …. this stuff is helping!!

Its hard to get past the smell of this product. I do believe it helped to heal a crack in my horses hoof but whew! Stinky!

Once we get the putty rolled out to the right consistency and a fix to the hoof, it’s quite easy.In the beginning I did struggle some but it’s very good product.

It's hard to write a review because upon opening the shipping box, the bottom was cracked open, and the seal was broken. I am skeptical because I don't know if that will affect how the product works. I thought it was supposed to be like clay, however, it is very runny. Not off to a good start, for sure. I would return but putting it back in a box to ship would be too messy. I hope I can salvage some of it.
