Very standard PVC drop-ceiling tiles
I've used similar drop-ceiling tiles from a lot of different brands, and they're usually very similar -- these are no exceptions, they very much meet (but don't exceed) expectations.Compared to old-school mineral-fiber and fiberglass drop-ceiling panels (or higher-end acoustic panels) this style of PVC panel is much thinner, which comes with some positives and negatives (but mostly positives):On the upside: They don't create a ton gross dust the way mineral fiber panels do (especially in terms of how old-school mineral tiles can can get messy when you're cutting them to size; or end up breaking down over time; and how other dust and moisture in your house can gather in the fissures in the material, etc.); they're very easy to cut to size; they're lighter weight and more flexible, so they're easier to install; and they're water-resistant/water-proof so they don't absorb spills and they can easily be wiped clean...The only downsides: They don't provide as much soundproofing on their own (you may need to add additional sound proofing above these in your ceiling) and because they're thin and flexible they can be more prone to drooping (and less capable of holding up other objects, like lights) so you'll need to make sure they have a good support structure.I've also found that a 5mm thickness is not only pretty standard for this style of panel -- but also really the minimum thickness that's generally reliable. I've had some 4mm panels that were okay, but borderline -- but I've also had some 3mm panels that were pretty floppy (more likely to droop/bend in the middle) and tended to break/snapped into pieces too easily... Whereas the 5mm size seems to hold-up pretty well as long as you're relatively careful with them (I'd definitely be interested in trying out some thicker PVC or more robust acoustic panels if I could find them without adding too much additional cost the the equation, but prices can escalate quickly when you're replacing a lot of drop-ceiling tiles... Anyway, I'll definitely never go back to mineral fiber tiles again, as the old ones have proven to be a mess to uninstall, crumbling and spewing out dust. These PVC style tiles are much easier to work with).

Using in place of hardboard in tiny cabin shelving/cubby (small space) project
We are finishing our 200 square feet tiny cabin and in this, we installed a window in each sleeping loft. We are using the empty wall space of the exterior siding and the wall’s existing 2 x 4s to create small recessed shelves and cubbies vs insulating and finishing the wall. I was originally working with hardboard (the mm difference is very slight) for the “wall/backboard” but thankfully came across these pvc ceiling tiles bc not only are they awesome, strong (solid, not corrugated), easy to work with (not too rigid), they will provide insulation that the hardboard doesn’t provide - and I love the texture/feel, they are super smooth (sensory sensitive) and have a matte finish. *With the hardboard, I was just having to cross my fingers and install a radiant barrier that really had no chance of working bc I couldn’t leave an air gap, and we have super hot and humid summers, and the lofts keep so much heat. The ceiling tiles arrived in perfect condition and they work great with a utility knife - so easily that you can shave off any mis-measured or mis-cut sections without issue - they cut so beautifully and smoothly. In building this tiny cabin we are constantly utilizing materials and items for purposes in which they were not originally intended in order to maximize every single inch of space - it’s truly exciting when you find an affordable product (after hours of brainstorming, researching, shopping, and scrolling) that works outside of the box to meet your needs!

Good for Ceiling Replacements, Perfect for Painting
I really love these pvc ceiling tiles. I originally picked up two cases of them to replace the ceiling tiles in my art gallery. These would be perfect for that. They have a better look than the tiles that are already there. Additionally, while they are very thin, they are made of a more durable material and are easier to work with due to flexibility. I am convinced that they will hold up against water leaks well, unlike the tiles that are already there. However, my business partner and I have decided to go with a different look. We will be replacing with this product, but in black instead of white. Therefore, I considered other uses for this product. I am planning to use some for the ceiling in my house, but I am primarily going to use them as "canvases". For all of you artists out there, this pvc materials has excellent ground for various mediums, from pencil to paint. All around, this is an excellent product.

Wow these look way better
These smooth tiles are so great! The current price for each is $5.25, looking up the standard 2x2 on Amazon - they are over 7$ each.I’m very happy with them!

Perfect Replacement Tiles!
We needed to replace the drop ceiling tiles in our basement for quite some time. We have the old style ceiling tiles which damaged easily causing dust debris regularly. We came upon PVC tiles and decided to give them a try. These Toemics tiles arrived in perfect shape -- no smashed corners and the tiles arrived perfectly flat. They popped into our ceiling grid easily and sat level with the grid -- no issue with the size or fit. They are a bright white color which matches our grid perfectly. We are very happy with these ceiling tiles and recommend this product.

Easy To Install
This product arrived in perfect condition. It's made of high-quality materials and is well-crafted. The tiles are beautiful! Installing this ceiling tile was relatively easy, and the outcome looks fantastic. I measured the bathroom, marked a chalk line down the center, and ensured that the tiles were straight. I used Loctite Power Grab Ultimate adhesive for gluing. I'm really pleased with the results. They were a perfect match for my ceiling, significantly brightening the room and giving it a higher-end appearance.
