Idea Village Bright Light Blanket - The Blanket That Lights Up - As seen on TV (Matches Light up Pillow, Sold Separately)

My daughter loved the blanket, but the zipper broke when she used it. A little over priced but I could not find it anywhere else.

When I opened it and put in 3 brand new Duracell batteries, only the outer lights worked on one side and the other lights kept glitching. I changed the batteries to another 3 brand new batteries and I got the same result. I am returning this item but I have reordered it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the next one will work. $60 is a lot to spend on a blanket, if the next one doesn't work than I'm gonna give up. But I'm gonna try to be positive that the next one will work. I have purchased the pillows with no problems. I'll update when I receive the new one.Well I received the other that I ordered. Price wise no biggie it was a penny more. This blanket works FABULOUS!!!! Lights up doesn't glitch. Looks awesome in the dark. Well worth the money. I am very happy now that I have a working blanket. It was not the fault of first seller. It was in its original package sent by Amazon so it was packaged well. The second one I received after returning the first was sent by different seller. Blanket was also in its original package, but it was not shipped by Amazon and not packaged as well and its working great. So I'm chalking the first one as being defective from the manufacturer. that is the fault of no one in the chain after production. I recommend this blanket. It is very soothing to look at and quite beautiful.

Make sure you really want this item before purchasing. I just returned this item because it wasn't what my daughter thought it would be. It wasn't as soft as she had expected. For as much as you pay for an item like this one, it has to be perfect in order for you to feel like you can keep it. To return this item back to the sender it cost me $13.58. That was just standard post. To send it priority mail it would have cost over $18. Just keep this in mind in case it doesnt work out for you, this is what it will cost to return it. :-(

it's a christmas gift for my granddaughter, but looking at the blanket, i think it will be just what she wants.

Awesome blanket. Was for a gift. The person receiving blanket loved it. The people that saw it as it was being opened were in awe . They wanted one as well. It is way soft and the light lul you to sleep.. We are very pleased. Thank you.

I read all the negative reviews, but my granddaughter wanted this magical blanket so badly I ordered it anyway. I told her it may not work too well but she was so excited that it was on the way. Two days later (with free shipping) it was at my door. She came over, took it from the box and Papaw installed the batteries. It lit up like a Christmas tree. The lights even changed colors. She's been wrapped in it since and is the envy if her friends. Good quality blanket and batteries still going strong. Worth every penny of $63 to see her so thrilled don't believe all negative you see. The blanket is magical.

i chose this rating because i bought this item for my nephews birthday along with the pillow. my sister inserted the batteries and none worked. needless to say i was very very embarrased and my nephew was brokenhearted.

I love this blanket. It is so soft and a perfect size. I love the way the colors change slowly and how it shuts off automatically and turns back on with a tap. The only disadvantage is that it is pure white and you can only spot clean it. Just have to take care to keep it from being heavily soiled.
