Woombie vs. Miracle Blanket
My son loves the Woombie. My daughter loved the Miracle Blanket. As a parent that has now used two of the most popular baby swaddlers, here are some pros and cons of each.Woombie - We used the Houdini woombie in pool party and in vanilla crea (have one of each) and one Original Woombie in Raspberry color.Pros:Allows the hands to be across the chest or up near the face - this was the main reason my son hated the Miracle Blanket and loves the WoombieSnug - I haven't really noticed a difference between the Original and the Houdini versions although the Houdini is supposed to be a slightly firmer swaddle. Both are snug.Nice colors - All the colors we have are nice. None have faded or bled in the wash.Cons:The Big Baby and Mega Baby sizes are too long. There is so much excess fabric that hangs down. My two year old can still fit in the Mega Baby size, lengthwise, because it is sooo long.Does stretch out after many uses. You can fix that by tossing in the washer and then tumble dry. (It says line dry but who has time for that? We've always tumbled dry with no problems.)Fingers can creep out the top and scratch the face. He's never managed to get anything more than his fingers out, but just a warning that it can happen.**Biggest con - You have to keep buying bigger sizes if you want to continue to use it as they grow. If you buy two in each size (so that you'll always have one handy if one is in the wash), then that's over one hundred dollars in swaddle blankets. Yikes!!**Hard to use if you need to put baby someplace with straps - like a bouncy seat or swingTerrible return policy from Woombie - only unused and unwashed are accepted for returns with a 15% restocking fee!!The Miracle Blanket - We have two - one in pink and one in blue. We used these with my daughter until she rolled over from back to front, at about eight/nine months old.Pros:Fits any size baby. It's a super long wrap, so there's no way that your baby will ever be too big to fit width-wise. Lengthwise our daughter outgrew it around four months. Then we just stopped putting her feet in the pouch but keep wrapping her arms. Still worked great!! Also if you leave the feet out, it's easy to put the baby someplace with a three point harness like a bouncy seat or a swing. Can only purchase two and lasts until you need to stop swaddling!Colors are nice - never faded or bled in wash.**Best pro** - Miracle Blanket has amazing customer service. One of ours got a hole in it after three months of use. Miracle Blanket replaced it free of charge, not even charging for shipping the new blanket or return shipping. Doesn't matter where you bought it - they will replace it for you and fix the old one and donate to kids in need. AWESOME!Cons:Learning curve - Babysitters and grandma had an extremely hard time learning how to use this. The first time, despite a demonstration before we left, our babysitter put it on our daughter upside down so that the foot pouch was like a little hood! The blanket has a weakness where the foot pouch is sewn onto the main piece. After much use, it develops a hole from being pulled on by baby kicking or moving the feet in and out of the pouch. Both our blankets developed one. We had Miracle Blanket replace one, but decided to just keep going with the other one. The hole never got bigger that the radius of a straw but it's definitely a weakness in the fabric.Hands are down by the side - This was what our daughter liked, but our son hated it, so I guess it could be a pro or a con.Overall, I would recommend either. You just have to think about what your baby likes. I think the Miracle Blanket is better for a baby who really needs a firm swaddle with very little movement. The Woombie is for babies who like their hands up. Our daughter, who required a firm swaddle, just couldn't handle the amount of movement the Woombie allowed. She needed much more restriction. Our son prefers the freedom to arrange his arms around his chest or thighs as he likes. If you want to try one, start with the Miracle Blanket first since their return policy is better. If Woombie would change theirs, I would equally recommend them.

A Miracle Blanket for sure!
Summary: A great summer weight swaddle blanket. Lengthened my 6 week old's night sleep by 2 hours. I have a large, breast fed, very active, very strong infant who is great at breaking free and often wiggles her legs out of the blanket when she wakes up, but during her sleep seems very comfortable.I bought the Miracle blanket looking for a lightweight summertime swaddle for my June baby. She was 9 lbs when born and was breaking out of our blankets (my 3rd child, so I know how to wrap a swaddle). I was suspicious of the Miracle Blanket working, but after the second or third night I saw our longest stretch at night go from 4 hours to 6 hours. We have been using it for a little over a week and she has had 3 six hour night sleeps at only 7 weeks old. Granted she is a bigger baby and seems to generally be a good sleeper. She will work her legs out of it a lot and work her arms out occasionally, but rarely when I swaddle her (I always make sure she can move her arms a bit and it isn't super tight on them). There is definitely a difference on the nights we sleep in another sleep sack as she wakes up every 2-3 hours and sometimes has to end up sleeping on me.It is a nice light blanket for summer sleeping. We live in California and in the middle of the night the room gets pretty cool, so I wrap another double layer muslin blanket just around her lower body 1 time to make her extra cozy and she sleeps really well. I think some of her early morning waking was due to being cold.My daughter is a 100% breast fed baby. I'm very surprised that we are getting such long stretches from her. I attribute this partly to her temperment, size, but also the blanket does seem to make her comfortable. She is a very strong and active infant and this blanket works for her. Give it a few days and be consistent about putting them to sleep in it. After 3 days or so, she stops crying after I get her arms swaddled down and almost falls asleep in the wrap phase.

One of the best swaddles
This is one of the best swaddles we used. It is very soft and of them all, easiest to put on. It can also be used with the baby's arms out as they grow.

Best swaddle on the market
This is truly the best swaddle out there. It’s so nice to not have to deal with loud Velcro in the middle of the night. Keeps baby snug and cozy and is so easy.

Best swaddle!
I love this swaddle - used it for both kids and find it easy to use, wraps them up tight and night, soft fabric and easy to wash.

Lovely swaddle blanket
Easy to use, comes with instructions. Helps baby to sleep longer during day or night. Blanket is thin but because you wrap it around, keeps the baby nice and warm. Mint colour is nice and neutral for babies.

Veramente ottimo!
Ottimo prodotto. Ci avevo provato con altri modelli, ed il mio bimbo riusciva sempre a liberarsi. Con questo, rimane bello avvolto tutta la notte e, secondo me, dorme più sereno.

The perfect swaddle
We tried two other popular ‘easy’ swaddle types, but this one is the best by far, as it doesn’t have zippers or Velcro which make noises. The inner flaps hold the babies arms gently inside, and don’t frustrate the baby as much when he fidgets and wiggles. It turned out to be the perfect swaddle choice for our little one.

The only swaddle that works
We ordered every type of swaddle on the market as the conventional ones weren't working. Amongst the different types, this one is unique in its method of immobilizing the arms, more as a function of babies own body wt vs combining arm and body wrap by a velcro strap. Our baby no longer fights against the sleep sack, and smiles and loves going into it, and falls asleep for nice deep sleeps. Got it at around 5 weeks, and now at 9weeks it is the only sleep sack used.thank you- first time father
