Good picture while it lasts
I've owned this monitor for about three years and I'm finally getting the dreaded black screen of death. The monitor refuses on most occasions to initialize and show video. It powers on and that's it, no start up splash screen and no desktop. Sometimes powering off then on again gets it going but infrequently. Right now I cannot use my computer because of this.My screen was not roughly treated and still looks new. When it works the image is still great. Sadly I'll have to buy another monitor now because I cannot find a replacement circuit board.

Awesome Monitor
This monitor has only one drawback and that the fact the stand is not adjustable - not a deal breaker because the colors are great and white is white not some off shade of white. This 32 inch curved monitor is beautiful and easy on the eyes. I know this is a free sync monitor so it shouldn't work on an Nvidia video card, but for some reason beyond my understanding it works perfectly at 144z refresh on my wife's system. I bought this monitor knowing full well that it shouldn't work with her computer system, but because the size and quality were needed more than the refresh rate. The price was 200.00 less than the equivalent monitor running Gsync for use with an Nvidia video card. I can't promise that this monitor will work with your Nvidia card system, but it still might. This monitor was purchased for my wife who spend too much time working from home on her computer system. The size was very important and so was the blue filter to protect her eyes from prolonged usage. This has been a great investment for someone I love! P.S. I spent weeks researching monitors so hopefully this review will save you some time and money as well. My wife's video card is Nvidia 1050 TI.

Seemed great! But after a year and a half....
Monitor seems great. Moving from a 60hz monitor to a 144hz was very noticable.-Make sure you are using a displayport cable.I really liked the monitor, great colors, bright and deep colors. But my problem with it after a year, It began to exhibit no display, the backlight would be on, the led would be blue. But nothing. I noticed this after the display had gone into sleep mode and auto turned itself off. After waking up the monitor I would get nothing.Sometimes restarting the monitor would get it working, but even then that stopped working. Same symptom, back light on, blue Led. The joystick would not be responsive either, It could only turn on and off the display. I've used multiple cables, and even hdmi cables, would be the same result, sometimes they'd work and sometimes they wouldn't.I don't know if you want to invest in a display that would last you about 1.5 years... I was hoping to atleast have the display working for 2-3 years. I've contacted Technical support, and have yet to hear anything back. Will keep this updated.

Pretty good monitor for the money. Had a stuck led first
Very pleased with the monitor. Curvature was weird first but got used to it in a day. My first monitor had a stuck green which I couldn't make go away ( i tried pressing, switch it on and off and also tried the color flickering videos on youtube.Fortunately, Amazon was nice enough to send me a new one which arrived in 2 days. They didn't even require to send the other one back first. This one has no issues thank god.You need a display cable for freesync (and g sync). Won't work with supplied hdmi cable. You also need to turn freesync on in settings. The nipple pad and the on-screen menu is a headache. I was constantly exiting the menu instead of stepping down on the list. I think a grew a couple of new white hairs because of it.It has a lot worse light bleed than my older monitor. Also, the very sides look darker to me when browsing the web. They are not much visible in games. I like to play on it tho. Games look awesome. v sync off and no more screen tearing. YAY!

Gsync compatible on zephyrus s 1070maxq. Use usbc - do cable. Confirmed working on this monitor
I got this monitor primarily for the resolution, refresh hz, and gsync/freesync compatibility. However the compatibility didn't work with the given hdmi cable. After a few weeks I decided to bet on a usbc-dp cable. Plugged it in straight from box, hooked it up to the right side usbc port, restarted laptop and there it was, the gsync option at Nvidia panel. I tested it out w/ GTA v on 2k res and almost everything on high/ultra. It's buttery smooth. I will be updating this post in the near future. But so far, everything seems to be working.3 Stars:For the back light bleed when watching movies. It's really obvious but still manageable.Edit: August 7 20191070 max q 2k res was a typo. But while poont of comment up top was freesync functionality over gsync which actually works. Having said that, 1070max q on 2k res was not smooth but monitor is irrelevant. Only 2080ti cards can do true 60+fps 2k on ultra settings. I built a new gaming rig recently and hooked it up with this same monitor. This monitor shines when you have a high end system. 2080ti+9700k both watercooled = true melted butter experience. Display port to usbc cable allows freesync to work still which i am currently using.EDIT:I am now using a system with 2080ti, 9700k. I downloaded the latest drivers and now for some reason my 32' 1440p 144hz is now stuck at 120hz. Did I miss something?????

BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT
BUY IT BUY IT BUY IT BUY ITITS AMAZINGI researched for monitors for hours and hours and came to the conclusion that this was the best for the price. I’m using an RTX 2060 and this is PERFECT. No dead pixels, amazing quality, and it comes with an HDMI that allows for 1440p 144hz. I was using 1080p 60hz and TRUST ME this is worth it. the curve is beautiful and everything is just beautiful. GET IT GET IT GET IT GET IT. Trust me. It’s amazing. Only the speakers could be better but are adequate for me since I use headphones

This was an incredibly good buy.
I was lucky enough to get this monitor for CAN$320 in a 24 hour sale on the day before Black Friday. Quite frankly, at it's normal price of CAN$469 it would have still been a reasonable Black Friday deal compared to the other monitors with similar features I found.I am using this monitor with a GeForce GTX 960 4GB video card to play Elder Scrolls Online. This video card was introduced almost 5 years ago and may now be considered old technology. Really old by gaming standards. My computer has an Intel i5-3570K CPU, which was introduced over 7 years ago and is now ancient technology. Despite this, I was able to set ESO to max out all of the video quality settings at the highest resolution and still get 45 frames per second. And the video quality was awesome. I got this despite the fact that prior to series 10 the GeForce GTX video cards do not support the AMD sync feature supported by this monitor. And the video quality when playing random movies or using computer programs looks pretty spectacular to me. The colours look great. I will admit that part of the reason for this is likely because I am used to looking at an older technology monitor. And I did not test the monitor with the most difficult to display videos that a home theater enthusiast would try it out with. The published brightness of this monitor is 250 cd/m2, which is less than the 300 cd/m2 featured by some of it's competition. Despite this, the monitor is way too bright in a room with normal room lighting. I had to turn the brightness down to 70%. (Note: At this setting the power consumption is only 80% of max.)I can't comment on the monitor's audio quality as, after several minutes of effort, I did not get audio working. I was only trying this out for curiosity's sake as I doubt the monitor's stereo speakers sound as well as my 5.1 surround sound system. (Just call it a hunch. Snerk.)I would also like to point out that with this 32" curved screen I find the video of games and movies to be very immersive when viewed at the normal 18" distance of a computer monitor.Over all, I am extremely pleased with this purchase.

Very bad QC from Viewsonic, avoid and look eslewhere.
The monitor itself is great, sleek and slim. But the QC and the build quality have severely dipped at Viewsonic since my last purchase from them.Unfortunately this was my second monitor, the first one had dead pixels. This one out of the box had the screws over tightened on the back which cracked the back panel, 4 days into use, more dead pixels. Gutted, as the size and the 1440p and refresh rate is great. So this will be the second screen that is returned. It's embarrassing that Amazon still have it for sale. Avoid. Buy something else.

THE 32' 1080P REVIEW THAT YOU CAN'T FIND
Okay so there's almost no information about the model I got (32' 1080p 165hz). I'll tell you that it's worth it. I don't claim to be a monitor enthusiast by any means but, it delivers all that it's sets out to be. The curve is minor but definitely good looking in so games with huds. Surprisingly the pixel density isn't even an issue somehow if you sit at a normal distance from it, but I'll look even clearer from a bit further away. Upgrading from 60hz to 165hz was a godsend, make sure to actually change the refresh rate in the display settings on windows 10, I didn't cause I'm a dummy. Brightness and colors are very nice, as expected from a VA panel. Okay now to the only con I find (but really what can you expect?). The 1 ms refresh rate it advertises is true yes, but there is very noticeable screen tearing. I'm not sure if this is avoidable or not but it's more distracting than useful. It's not horrendous it's just noticeable and feels like you have random spikes of sharpness filter when you turn your camera movements or something. On the monitor, there's 3 options for response time: Standard, Advanced, and Ultra Fast. Standard looks luscious and smooth, advanced looks the same but very slightly less buttery, while Ultra Fast is that screen tearing mess. Now time for some facts I didn't know when I got it. The monitor buttons are controlled via one joystick, tricky at first to get used to. And the page is lying. 32' 1080p model comes with a displayport cable not a hdmi. If you have any questions you can ask me since there's no internet documentation besides Amazon.
