After trying to paint my concrete doorstep with two other brands, both of which peeled-off within days, I decided to try a third time with SmartSeal paint. Applies very smoothly, fast drying, has good covering power and, unlike the first two, is non-slip and has not so far peeled-off. Having been disappointed by the first two brands I was, naturally, a little wary of the manufactures claims and I only ordered a couple of 75ml pots to try. However, this was sufficient to paint my step and I have literally ordered two more pots for future use if needed. All in all a great paint.

This is a great size and price to test whether tile paint is the way to go for you or in my case, to repair damage on existing floor tiles. The paint goes on easily and is scratch proof and waterproof as stated. I tested an area (photo) and it's been durable over the last few days. A quality product. Unfortunately for me, it's too light a grey for my tiles. My tiles are dark grey and the colour of the paint is more silvery. It's a lovely colour, but doesn't work for me. I thought it might be too light from but decided it was worth a try as for most floor tile paints, there isn't a test size.

Colour seems exactly as expected and the first coat goes in very well when thinned with about 10% white spirit (as advised by SmartSeal). Quality and durability of the first coat seem really good. However, the claims for 30-50sqm coverage from a 5 lite tin should be noted carefully - my 15sqm garage managed with 2 coats (first coat thinned by 10%) and used the entire 5L can. Bang on their 30sqm estimate. Was hoping for plenty left over for touch-ups or even a 3rd coat, but no chance of that. So I was slightly disappointed with coverage but it has done the job well. Time will tell on long term durability.

Absolutely waste of money after a week car gose over the paint all coming out it was like a double sided sticker contact the seller to get the money back but not even reply please avoid this seller and the paint

Had to break through thick top layer of paint pot, it covered some of my step but would just buy big tin and not sample pots Dried Matt not glossy disappointing

great purchase there is a smell but doesnt last too long we used indoors and left door open step looks grea

It's more very dark brown than black. Apart from that it's ok.
