My 2005 Acura TSX (20 years old, 74k miles) is in perfect condition inside and out—except for a tear in the leather seat. In the past, I’ve paid $300–$500 for professional reupholstery. This time, while not flawless, the repair delivered an excellent color match and finish. I’m very happy with the results, which actually exceeded my expectations. See before and after pictures. I read the other reviews. They made a mistake by just covering the torn area. Start the tape at the seam and run it along the entire length to the other seam as I did.

needed to repair a Pur-Lux fabric on my driver's seat, it was ripped by a broken button on my pants. tried vinyl repair but it was a mess. This covers the seat well and looks fine as it is the same color but the heat in a car in the summer can soften the glue and the edges always need to be smoothed over. The key to making it stay and not get buffed around is to cut the tape an inch to a half both above and below the damage. I also made a cutout against the piping on the seat so it fits without sticking out, it really is barely noticeable.

I live in Texas and it’s HOT I was worried it wouldn’t stick that it was gonna be too hot ant it would melt the glue and it would just slide. It did not it’s working perfectly even when you wear shorts and get a little sweaty still stays in place

It’s a good patch up tape at a reasonable price. I got a good color match to my car seat. I live in HAWAII with an intense tropical sun, so there’s a limited shelf life on the patch itself. I wish I could find a heat resistant tape. Would be ideal and certainly much more long lasting in a moderate climate.

Ordered ivory and was a darker ivor beige. Need to reorder lighter color but seems like a nice product and should do the job.

I noticed I had a rip in my leather car seat so I decided to go on Amizon and look for tape to put on my seat .its the best a leather take roll and it also matches my color very good quality 🤙🏽🤙🏽
