This rip fence is a handy addition to your toolbox. It not only fits on two of my circular saws, but also on a jig saw (sabre saw) that I own, as well.The quality of the rip fence is fine, but it's the finish that I take issue with. This is painted black (why? I have no clue), but the black paint is inferior, thin, and it looks extremely worn just when it arrived. I can only imagine how it will look after some use.This should have been plated, or given some finish other than thin, black paint. It makes an otherwise fine rip fence look, frankly, like junk.I'm disappointed at the poor quality of not just the finish, but also the stamping. I'm noticing some fairly sharp edges that should have been relieved.All in all, a disappointment. Useful, but sadly a letdown at this price.

Well, this is what you see is what you get - a little metal guide for your handheld circular saw. Fits the slot in my Ryobi cordless like a charm, and does the job. The “construction” of the piece (sort of a T-cross piece welded on) - seems like it might break one day from overzealous use. Then again, this is a pretty inexpensive piece, so I am a little conflicted on being down on this aspect. Also the “weld” part concerns me because it might be prone to being loose or bent, such that the jig is no longer aligning your cuts in a straight line. Not yet, but I can see it. But overall - a good price, and useful.
