The Wee’un is a folding indoor climbing frame inspired by Emmi Pikler. It is perfect for your overactive little ones to climb, but it is not limited to just climbing. It’s a den, tunnel, seat, baby gym and much more. Easily folded for storage, simply remove the knobs fold and re-insert them. Locked closed means it can be stored anywhere, including our favourite, on hooks on the wall Designed to help your little ones learn to first stand, using the bottom rung as a support. Then as it is one of the widest it allows them to shuffle along, building confidence in movement. It continues to grow with your little ones as they then progress to climb, one rung at a time, until they reach the confidence to get to the top. The next progression is the top. Our single top rung is a big help. We found this to be perfect, giving children a central point to balance while they get their legs and bodies over. If you think of climbing a gate or a wall and even a very similar structure, fence stye, you would always place your hand in the centre to not bring your weight to far forward and topple headfirst down the other side. Getting over the top whether it is the first time or the 100th time, it always gives children such a boost of confidence. Made with the thickest rungs of any other climbing frame like it makes it super strong and easy on little one’s feet, we all know the pain of standing on a narrow rung of a ladder or ledge for any length of time. It also gives children a good solid item to grip onto. With loads of accessories and compilatory products from our range the play is truly open ended Handmade at home by a husband and wife team in rural Northern Ireland Easy foldable for storage Can be used from birth to 50kg. Tested to exceed all European and British standards FSC engineered birch and engineered FSC redwood Open 91cm x 77cm x 62cm high Shipped fully assembled so it is ready to use out of the box colours can vary batch to batch

Not quite perfect
For the price, I wouldn't say I was 100% happy with the purchase. The frame arrived with a dink, which I suspect was caused in transit, and ehilst I expect it to pick up scuffs and damage over time it was disappointing to find it marked before we'd even been able to use it.Additionally, one of the yellow rungs seems to have reacted with the woodgrain resulting in dark marks, which although I can live with, isn't visually as beautiful as I'd have liked. Also a piece of the wood has been patched. Having spoken to the company, I understand the reason for this - reducing waste, however, there are other brands available which are sold without such patches or the frames with patches are sold as "imperfect"Do I think it's worth the £165 price tag? If it were in perfect condition then yes, this is a beautifully crafted item which will provide years of fun. Unfortunately, the Wee'un I received fell short of my expectations so in this case I don't feel it's worth the money. That being said, my son loves it and has absolutely no idea that the paint work isn't perfect or that there are marks. Ultimately this is for him, not me.I should add the seller was more than willing to accept it back, however we have decided against that due to the effort involved and that it would take too long for a replacement.

Beautiful and sturdy climbing frame
Absolutely love this climbing frame; my child (15 months) couldn't wait until it was out of the packaging to play on it! The smell of cut wood hit me as I opened the package, and the paint colours are just lovely; transparent enough to see the wood grain underneath so not a solid block colour, certainly adds a natural effect with the rainbow colours. The build quality and craftsmanship is also very good and the frame feels solid and sturdy. I would thoroughly recommend this product to anyone considering buying it for their children. The customer service I received from Sawdust and Rainbows was excellent too. I am really, really pleased. Thank you.

Finally something that will last from 0+
Finally something they can both play with without arguing over it!! The wee un is beautifully made and love how you can still see the grain under the paint. It’s the perfect size for my 4yr old and 1yr old. We have had it less that a week and so far it’s been used to climb over, watch tv on, a den, balancing toys on and baby has mastered pulling herself up on to her feet using this and is already trying to climb it. Looking forward to see what else it will be!! Thank you sawdust and rainbows

Perfect Pikler
Absolutely love this product - beautiful design, super practical and well made.My daughter enjoys using it for climbing, as a play tunnel and tent with blankets, rolling balls along the rungs and posting (then collecting) things through the bars - perfect for her physical development especially when it’s too wet and windy for the park. It also folds flat (15cm) which means it fits under our sofa. Will definitely be returning to buy add ons for this as she grows. Great service guys!
