Sealey RE4012 70 x 198mm Dust-Free Sanding Block , Red

I needed this to sand down the wall in the living room after moving into an old house. I painted the living room with two coats of trade paint and looks good as new now.

I've been asked to do a little more prep for the decorators at work when I have the time. We use the Mirka version of this along with the orbital sanders. I like having my own tools on site. Using the best tools means I can buy once for jobs around the house. This performs just as well as the Mirka and can use their sheets with it. I actually prefer this ergonomic shape as I am pushing with my shoulder, with the Mirka the repetitiveness takes its toll on the wrists along with all the other wrist-taxing duties at work. Geat value at this price as I believe it's competitor is about 4-5x the price.

It's a bit lightweight so it's not as easy to sand with as the Mirka version. It's cheaper that's why I bought it because my son had my Mirka.

I don't know why I didn't know these things existed. You can sand walls or anything in your house without covering everything with dust.Great little tool.

Sanding drywall is what everyone loves. With some modifications, to fit my needs (velcro tape on sides and bigger pads for sanding corners) this think is one of my favourite tools.Of course I didn't expect this to collect all dust and that is the reason why I was so niceimpressed with it.Collects literally all fine dust. I have it connected to workshop vacuum (used old dishwasher hose and some tape)Works beyond my expectations.Highly recommended this think to anyone. You won't be disappointed.
