I purchased this wall plate to go behind a new Sensi ST55 thermostat. It is well made, the color of the wall plate matched the thermostat and the fit is perfect. I would highly recommend this wall plate for the Sensi ST55 thermostat.

I bought this because I installed a new hvac system with new thermostats that where slightly smaller than the previous ones. So instead of having to paint the exposed area I opted for this plate that worked well. It does have a round ish front that doesn't sit quite flush with my flat thermostat but it is barely noticeable. Had predrilled holes for easy install but I added a few others to fit my needs.

I called Sensi and asked if their thermostat would cover my old Hunter 44360 and they said it should. My thermostat was wired through a standard metal box and about 3/8” of the box was showing after mounting the thermostat. I then ordered this trim plate and everything looks great 👍 it was a bargain at $6 and change! Took about 10 minutes to install.

Works fine as a generic plastic trim plate. But its a bit to large for the rheem econet thermostat. I still made it work. Though it could have come out a bit better if i had sized it correctly.

The overall concept is great, but it does not fit the actual thermostat that it is linked to. There’s an overlapping from the thermostat that does not allow the thermostat to lay flat in the inside groove, which is quite annoying.

The wall plate arrived quickly and, coincidentally, our HVAC was being checked the following week. We had the technician install it because I would have had to disconnect and reconnect some wires. I wasn't about to do that. The thermostat and wall plate look great.
