Acti Spa TA Plus is Sodium Bicarbonate and used to increase your spa water alkalinity.Total Alkalinity must be maintained at between 80-150mg/I (ppm). Test this using test strips,if your TA is below 80mg/l (ppm) use TA plus to bring the level up to the recommended levels. The ideal TA level for pools and spas is between 80 and 150mg/litre (ppl). When the TA level is below 80mg/l (ppm) the pH level can fluctuate widely and the water can be corrosive, leading to damage to pool finish and support equipment.
