Excellent, convenient, no pressure loss.
Excellent and super convenient. no pressure loss although the hose is 1/2 inch, in fact I think that helps with the pressure. Compared to the regular flexzilla 5/8 hose I didn’t notice any loss of pressure. No leaks! The hose gets wrapped nicely as it moves sideways. Get your quick connects and you are ready to go. I have couple of Flexzilla hoses and they seem durable. One hose has gone through 2 summers and winters with no issues. The color faded a bit because of keeping it in the sun. These are the best hoses I came across so far. If you are tired of fighting stiff hoses that only last one season try flexzilla. This reel is even better as it makes the process super easy with the retractable mechanism. The reel itself is plastic everywhere so not sure how long it will last in an environment of heavy usage daily but in normal usage condition it should last a long time. only time will tell. Some people may find the pull a little too difficult especially if unwinding the entire hose. Although with !caution! the spring can be adjusted if needed as it is held in place by 2 screws on the side of the reel. If attempting to mess with that make sure to use e wrench at the center of the reel to hold the spring from unwinding.

I already had one and had to get another!!
I've bought all kinds of hoses that don't do what they say. Shrinking, kinking light weight etc. We got one of these 2 years ago and I like it so much I got this one here. Couldn't find it anywhere else. It's easy to mount. You can put it on the retractable or free flow setting. It's a little harder to pull on retractable but that's to be expected. You have to put it on that to get it to rewind. I am a woman in my upper 50's with arthritis and I don't have an issue with it. I love Flexzilla products so much we got my husband the air hose reel and also the extension cord reel. The hose can get a little wonky if you don't have a reel. I have a Flexzilla 100 foot loose hose and when I hang it up it can get twisted/wonky depending on how you wrap it up with water on or off. Otherwise a great system. I have no loss in water pressure either.

stopped working
It stopped working after just over 30 days of use, I don't recommend it. It worked well for the first few days. But after a few days, the hose starts to retract on its own even with the lock activated. And I currently believe that the spring has come loose inside and no longer collects the hose. unfortunately I have to leave the hose coiled and hanging in this deplorable situation. Expensive product that I do not recommend.

Flexible house and a sturdy reel but a bit pricey
I've been a fan of Flexilla for a while, and I'm tremendously satisfied with their air compressor hoses and reels. I decided to try their Flexilla Pro water hose and reel and was only a tiny bit disappointed. The hoses are very flexible... perhaps a bit TOO flexible as they kink easily when pulling the hose out into the yard and around landscaping. The reel has been sturdy, and the Levelwind tech is excellent, ensuring the hose doesn't bind up inside the reel. So far, so good, with only a one-star ding on the "value for money" category. We'll see how well they stand up under the brutal South Texas summers.
