This review is for NOCO Snap-Top BG31 Battery Box, Group 24-31 12V Battery Box for Marine, Automotive, RV, Boat, Camper and Travel Trailer Batteries.The battery box was delivered complete and as described by the seller; the package includes the box, snap-on top, divider plate, hold-down strap and mounting tray with screws. I am using this battery box for the LiFePO4 battery which powers the trolling motor on my fishing canoe. The divider plate provides a snug fit at the smallest position and leaves space for storage of other accessories. The box is rugged and provides protection to the battery while allowing easy cable access. I especially like the simplicity of the snap-top design.

NoCo is known for good quality parts and they did not disappoint. This is an excellent battery box, installs easily, Group 31 battery fits well and the stops are plenty strong to keep a smaller Group 24 or 27 battery stationary, lid seals well but still has plenty of room for large cables to be neatly routed through, the snap top is secure and latching mechanism is protected from weather and UV light so I expect that it will not deteriorate like the exposed retaining systems found on most all other battery boxes and I won't be loosing the lid again.

This battery box offers excellent weatherproofing for my external 12V battery, which powers my fence charger. It’s spacious enough to house the battery, the fence charger system, and a Wi-Fi smart switch I use to schedule active hours for the fence and control it remotely via smartphone—turning it on or off anytime, from anywhere. Even through rainstorms, it’s kept everything dry and fully operational. Overall, it’s an outstanding battery box!

This is a well-made battery box. I purchased this for my travel trailer, it has worked out great. It was easy to route the wiring and mounting the box.

Only con of this product is Amazon doesn't know how to ship it properly. Mine had partial internal pieces broke because they tossed it in an oversized box with little padding. Otherwise excellent for the money lid fits securely and has ample room pretty good quality.

At the very least, you want to keep the terminals on a battery, especially a large-capacity battery, covered at all times. Bridging the terminals would not only possibly damage the battery, doing to would also cause a loud bang, generate some magic smoke, and do major damage to that which caused the short - hopefully not YOU. This box comes with a panel to screw down to its permanent home as well as a tie-down strap and buckle that passes through it and can double as a handy way to lift the battery+box if it's not tied down. This battery box comes with a panel that you slot in to hold your battery steady as it will fit multiple types - a nice feature, and it works well with the max size 100AH LiFePO4 battery I've stuffed into it.

This is a very nice auxiliary battery box, I use it on the back of my truck to hold a marine battery for a winch and its holding up well hasn't cracked or warped in the sun like my other ones have, a lot better then the ones you get at the auto parts/farm stores.

Love it !The Snap top Lid is Great. No more fighting the strap.Comes with a strap as well but I love the Snap on Lid.Also has a divider so you can fit a smaller battery and it won't move around in the box.They also make a smaller one for smaller batteries.Highly recommend.
