Simply amazing, superb sound quality
It's my first internet radio, but I have to say this model sets the bar really high. Superb quality, excellent sound, it's even got a bass tube at the back, so place it near the wall and you will not miss a bit. And remember to set the EQ to "User" for best experience, as the "Normal" is quite flat.It didn't come pre-programmed, so it took me few moments to get it working, but once done, very nice and easy to use. And yes, you can add ANY station from the world as long as you know the stream URL.Bluetooth worked well to - very nice feature to listen to Deezer or Youtube Music.Just brilliant piece of equipment, and for a very good, reasonable price as for product made in Britain.

A great unit that punches well above its weight.
This is a gem of a machine. I’ve been looking for an internet radio for quite a while but most of them are prohibitively expensive. This one is great value. I use it in the kitchen and the sound is great. Plenty of level to fill the room even at half volume. It’s compact in size but big on sound so don’t think you’re getting a small tiny sounding bedside clock radio type thing.Installing the station is straightforward. I couldn’t find one local station but that maybe down to the station rather than the unit itself.I got the walnut coloured one and it’s very nice. I tried the app but I can’t get it to pair but again I think the app needs updating so I’ll try again in a few days. Bluetooth and aux inputs work fine and the Spotify feature is great too.All in all a great unit that punches well above its weight. Would highly recommend.

Good sound quality and feature packed radio
The sound quality is good and the radio has a lot of good features like bluetooth for connecting a phone and aux out so you could connect it to your hifi. Once set up with your favourite internet radio stations it is easy to use, but the initial setting up can be a bit tricky - although I think this is true of most internet radios. My only real complaint is that the radio isn't instant when switching on or switching on from standby as an analogue radio would be - but this seems typical of digital devices! It's a bit reminiscent of the old days of valve devices that needed to "warm up". I can't comment on the DAB or FM features as I have very poor coverage where I live - hence needing an internet radio! basically once you've set it up and programmed it with your favourite stations it works well and sounds good. I'm updating this review having had the radio for nearly 3 years. I'm disappointed to find little help from the manufacturer regarding the changes the BBC have stated they are making mid 2023 to their internet streaming services - and as I've been getting the message of doom on my radio for several months now, I expected it to stop working when the BBC discontinue Shoutcast. As I bought this radio to mainly listen to BBC Radio stations (I live in an area of poor radio reception) I fully expect it to become little more use than a brick when the changes happen - which is a shame as it was a nice little radio. There is a "software update" option on the setup menu and I periodically check it just in case Majority have come up with a fix - but they haven't as yet - there has never been a software update in the past 2 and a bit years. On top of this the radio has recently started "dropping out" and continually buffering making it very annoying to listen to. Sometimes this can be fixed (sort of) by powering it off and on at the mains (but not always). I have decent WiFi speed and other devices work just fine in the same room. It might be the BBC end, but who knows. I can't really recommend anyone buying this product now due to the uncertainty of it's continuing use with BBC Radio stations and the lack of information regarding this problem from the manufacturer - unless you are looking for a bulky and overly expensive bluetooth speaker!!! Further update, I've dropped my rating to 3 stars as the unit will no longer connect to WiFi at all - even when positioned in the same room as the router - I have good WiFi speeds and all my other devices work just fine. I am intending to contact Majority about this problem, but am disappointed that a radio that's only 3 years old has failed like this. On the plus side, it still works as an overly large mains powered bluetooth speaker!!! A further update - the manufacturer has been most helpful and sorted out the problem. I can still get BBC Radio channels, although the quality since they changed their streaming service is pretty poor (this is the BBC's issue, not the radios). No problems with non-BBC internet stations though. The Wifi issue was resolved with a reset to factory defaults. Restored my star rating to 4 stars after the decent support from Majority.

Great product
I have just set this up and my first impressions are that this is a superb system. I previously had an internet radio that was 3 x more expensive and the Majority beats it in every respect: sound (albeit I only listen to rock - I have set the equaliser to the rock setting), ease of set up, look, screen, ease of finding and saving internet stations, Spotify Connect is just as good. It also has some cool features like ambient sleep sounds and weather and stock market indices. It is not portable - my previous radio was although I had to purchase a battery pack for £40. No problem as due to the price I can buy another Majority radio for the kitchen - when registering the product I found all their products on their website. Note this does not have DAB but to me that is an advantage as it negates the need for an aerial. Also the lack of portability means it does not have a handle - the reason I had to return my old radio was because the handle broke.
