Tendak HDMI Audio Extractor, 192KHz ARC Audio Extractor Digital to Analog Audio Converter DAC Converter, HDMI ARC SPDIF/Optical to HDMI ARC, SPDIF/Optical, L/R or 3.5 mm Jack Stereo for TV, Black

Works great at splitting the audio arc so you can setup multiple audio speakers. I have a surround sound speakers set up with a separate soundbar. (Sony HDMI ARC and Sennheiser Via Optical). It sounds amazing. I tried a couple of other solutions... even hiring best buy to come out... and they couldn't figure it out... Finally found this device, and it actually preforms as advertised. Highly recommend!

Used this device to add a powdered subwoofer to my sound bar the wireless one wasn't cutting it. I just dislike how short the power cable is. As of March 24 2025 device powers on audio to soundbar is working the aux out to the subwoofer no longer works and doesn't seem to have a fix.

I'm using it to extract the audio signal from the HDMI connection from my TV to my Receiver. The extracted audio goes into a Hearing Aid transmitter box so I can listen to the TV sound via my hearing aids while the sound also comes through the speakers. Unfortunately the power on/off via the TV remote control seems to have gotten lost in the box (CEC)

TV manufacturers seem to want us to buy overpriced mono bluetooth speakers they call "soundbars" or expensive phantom-power-sucking rigs with a dozen always-on class-A amplifiers they call "receivers" in order to hear what is happening on the TV before the wall does. I just want to listen to my music in high fidelity stereo, and if the stereo sounds better than the TV why can't I just plug the TV into it like I did in the 90s? In their passion for new technological downgrades they have abandoned every last simple stereo audio output that supported lossless copper wire audio. TOSLINK optical outputs seem great until you realize they can't control the volume. Bluetooth can control the volume but is a downgrade on every other front: when it does connect it will still disconnect actors' voices from their mouths, and even if you can tweak that timing into a semblance of synchronicity a good stereo system will still reveal a tinny reproduction of sound. Maybe it fills out when you add another 5 channels of badly timed tin? The thing for the music lover to do is reserve their budget for the best speakers they can afford, buy a power-efficient 2.1 class-D stereo amplifier at a fraction of the cost of modern AV receivers, and connect it to the TV with a "192KHz+ HDMI eARC CEC volume control DAC", like this device, plugged into the TV's HDMI ARC "input". Now my family doesn't need an instruction manual for an arsenal of remotes, my music still sounds like it was meant to, and actors voices come out of their mouths on time. But that all is beside the point of this review: a decade ago a little black box of do-nothing electronics like this would have come with five bright shining blue indicator lights flashing signals to the heavens from behind the TV at all hours, while this modern innovation comes with a blessed zero lights of any kind. It doesn't even turn one on when you turn it off! For consumer electronics to come so far in such a short time is truly a marvel of human ingenuity.

I'm a bit disappointed. While this does work and has enabled me to connect my external amplified bookshelf speakers to my TV for better sound it does not allow me to control the volume of my attached speakers. The ARC protocol is supposed to give you volume control of your audio system via the TV remote. This ARC HDMI audio extractor does not do that. I'm inclined to return it.

I have a 1970's vintage Marantz receiver and wanted to hook up a new Samsung TV to it. Since my TV doesn't have RCA outputs and my receiver does not have HDMI inputs, I decided to buy this to try getting them connected. It works great! The TV sound is now coming through my receiver and sounds great and the TV remote controls the volume. Very happy with this purchase!

This Tendak is the ONLY solution that I could make work. Samsung 85" TV ONLY has HDMI Output (ARC.) HDMI to Klipsch Soundbar with Wireless Subwoofer. DESIRE to SPLIT the ARC Out to the Klipsch (while maintaining the HDMI Control) & Feed to a 12-Channel Amplifier for a Whole House Audio System. -Anything on the TV plays through the Soundbar (with sub) and the whole house audio system. --Streaming, gaming, news, sports, music, whatever. This unit worked PERFECT. FIRST Try. Realizing my specific situation is a little unique, this box delivered exactly what I needed and EXACTLY what it said it would.

Drove me crazy, no extracted sound, until I read all the fine print to switch my TV sound from "auto" to "PCM". Works fine with volume control on the sound bar and on the connected speakers. The only thing that didn't work was that the signal to turn on the sound bar automatically from the TV was lost and I have to turn it on manually.

Did what it was supposed to and then quit working after 8 months.

Ya había gastado en diferentes productos y ninguno me funcionó hasta que comrpré finalmente este que sí extrae el audio del televisór para esucharlo via óptica o auxiliar en mi equipo de sonido antiguo.
