Smart looking, tough and hardwearing trousers with lots of handy pouches/pockets!
The adage, "You get what you pay for.", is eminently applicable here (I wish I'd bought a few more pairs when they were selling on Amazon for less a year ago). Nevertheless, even at the current asking price, these rugged, multi-pocketed trousers are still very much worth the money. Some people don't like the 'flappy' front pockets, and truth be told, initially, neither did I. However, having gotten used to the convenience of the two front pouches - and a third zip-able one - I now find them tremendously useful as I no longer have to strap on a tool belt specifically for holding nails or screws. These pouches are also perfect for the impromptu storage of items that would otherwise end up left in one of those temporary safe places that we all promptly forget about moments later.Ok, yes, the pouches do flap around quite a bit whilst walking at full stride, but the benefits conferred far outweighs this inconvenience. The only downside to these trousers is the partial polyester composition of the fabric. Whilst it undeniably adds to their durability, it also makes them a little sweaty on a hot summer's day. That said, I did find this issue lessened, to a noticeable degree, after the trousers have had a few washes. Even so, don't expect comfort levels to be on par with those found in a full-cotton equivalent. It's a bit of a trade-off really, sacrificing a little tactile luxury for greater longevity ultimately results in reduced expenditure on work gear - which is great - as long as you're prepared to put up with a proportionally small reduction in comfort.Personally, I found the fit around the waist too be pretty good. At 6'2", as is quite often the case, I did find them a tiny bit short in the leg though. With boots, this isn't a problem, but for those who prefer steel-toed trainers, this maybe a consideration to keep in mind.In conclusion: despite costing half as much as the big brand name alternatives available, e.g. Bosch/Dewalt, these trousers are still every bit as good as their more expensive counterparts.

Light for the summer
The trousers are light and feel robust. I haven't tried it out like i would when I was 10 and I would skid across the dance floor on my knees in my school pants (they also doubled up as christening/wedding pants), but they feel like they would hold up to that abuse.Plenty of pockets and fit well in the leg for a short legged fellow.

Very happy!
I only buy scruffs for work now as they’re not only cheap, but hardwearing and last a long time. Tons of pockets and places to put things. Would highly recommend.

Great
Bought these for my husband for his work. He loves them although not as thick as his old ones. However these seem to be hard wearing and all the right pockets that he needs. Fit him perfectly and what a super price great value for money.

Tight fit
Very good work trouser but a smaller than normal size. I am a 32” waist but the 32 on these is very tight.
