The Complete Arthurian Tarot: Includes classic deck with revised and updated coursebook Paperback – 27 Nov. 2014

This is a lovely deck to work with, particularly if you enjoy the Arthurian myths. I am also impressed with the accompanying book, themed around the "Hallowquest", a year long study course.Unfortunately, this edition is badly let down by the awful card-stock. The cards are flimsy and coated with something that both flakes/chips easily (leaving white marks on the cards) and is sticky! Additionally, the cards arrive separated into two piles and each pile is slightly warped (in the shrink-wrapping process?) so that they won't consolidate easily into one deck. The end result is that the deck is really difficult to shuffle.I like the deck enough to keep it but I am hoping to find a second hand copy of an earlier edition with better cardstock.

This deck is stunning. Some of the images are very unique, so that I cannot immediately recognise them as relating to their corresponding cards in other tarots such as the Rider-Waite and tarots based on it. And yet they are certainly a structured tarot. The images, like the Celtic myths and stories on which they are based, pull no punches, and so resonate powerfully through the unconscious to the very soul.I bought this deck to get to know the Arthurian legends a bit better, but I find that as part of the quest I am gaining more and more insight about the nature of the tarot, and of myself.

This is a great deck with beautiful art work and a great book . The reason I gave it 4 and not 5 stars is for card stock , feels very cheap! Plus I've only had the deck for a week and shuffled the cards a few times! but already the cards are chipping badly. It's seems such a pity that they didn't use better quality card .

Lovely deck and beautiful card stock. Would have liked the stories of the Grail to have a little more consistency in the suits. But that’s only a minor gripe.Excellent guidebook and workbook all in one.Highly recommend.

This really is a lovely deck. BUT, bizarrely, the one I received was missing one card - Spear Four - I have never had this happen before and I have bought many many Oracle and Tarot decks over the years. Thanks to Amazons free returns, this is only a minor inconvenience, and I have re-ordered another deck - fingers crossed this one is complete ...

I really like the spreads and the meanings of the cards. Based on the quest of the Holy Grail and Arthurian legend, so would recommend for anyone interested in the legends.

First brought these 20 years ago. Worn them out so needed a new set. Tried many sets over the years sporadically and these are the only set that ever stayed with me.

Very beautiful deck, I am in love with my cards.
