Dettol antibacterial Original Soap Bars, 4 x 100g, Antibacterial soap bars bundle, Quickly eliminates bacteria

Bought in advance of my upcoming trip to the Caribbean.Used a few times in hot countries to stop prickly heat in it's tracks. Shower twice a day using this & it works wonders.

I have an issue where I sweat pretty profusely and end up smelling terrible after a workout. I've seen recommendations to use an antibacterial soap from people with the same problems. I'm already familiar with the Dettol brand and decided to give this soap a go.I used it in the shower and the results were immediate. It smells very strongly of lemon and disinfectant which is a plus for me. However when I got out of the shower I smelt of absolutely nothing, no scent whatsoever, and my skin felt soft and bouncy.It was a really hot day and whilst I still sweated like normal I didn't notice any sort of bad odour and nobody pulled their face at me or commented on a bad smell like they usually do when I sweat. A couple of people complimented my on my 'new perfume', even though I was using the same deodorant and perfume as I usually do.I'll use this every day now. The only negative I can think of is that the bar is an odd shape and not as dense as the other soaps I've tried, so I don't think it will last as long as them.

A great soap, lathers well and doesn’t feel too drying. The scent is pretty strong citrus scent that reminds you of actual dettol cleaning products. I wish the scent was more subtle or came in different scents. On the upside my small en-suite bathroom smells of the soap constantly so it doubles up as an air freshener.

Lovely soap

Good soap in every way, except that a bar doesn't last long if you use it as all-body soap in the shower. I'm a tall bloke and a fastidious washer/shower, so maybe I use more soap than most each time, but I'd expect a bar of soap to last at least a week. I'm lucky if I get 5 showers out of one of these.So, put another way, I get 20 showers out of four bars.Eight pounds for 4 bars of this means you're paying two pounds per bar.I've seen these twin packs in high street shops/discount stores for a pound (so, 50p per bar).

I have never found a soap that has that clean refreshing smell that dettol soap does. Bought this to go on holiday with as will be very useful for hot days and hand washing. Mum loves it and I got this mainly for her but I will use it too.It doesn’t strip the skin or feel too drying so that’s a bonus!
