High quality; fits a 12.9" iPad Pro
This BUILT sleeve is high-quality and well-manufactured, like the other BUILT products I've used. The exterior is wetsuit-like polyester/neoprene, and the inside is a slightly-shaggy microfiber material. The neoprene core is perhaps 1/4" thick on each side of the case — maybe not enough to protect from substantial drops, but perfect for my purposes (protecting from jostling by other items inside a backpack). I purchased this sleeve for a 12.9" iPad Pro, and it fits cleanly, with no strain on the zipper (although it's worth noting that the case is branded for the 13-inch MacBook Pro). In short, it's a great, well-made sleeve, seems to provide ample protection, and fits my device tightly.Notes: - The description states that this sleeve fits 13-15" laptops — I find that hard to believe. You'd be hard-pressed to fit a device much larger than 13".

The Zipper Broke after 3 Weeks
This is my second BUILT Neoprene Laptop sleeve. I loved the first one which I bought several years ago! My reason for purchasing a new one was simply that I was shipping a friends laptop thru the mail who needed it overnighted and I thought it would add protection by placing it in my sleeve fir shipment. I knew I could buy a new one and did so. Unfortunately, my new one had a broken zipper within 3 weeks of using it. I will buy yet another to replace the broken one as I have chalked this up to a lemon. I would recommend the BUILT sleeve and am crossing my fingers for better luck next time

Exceedingly well-designed and built laptop sleeve
I've been using BUILT NY laptop sleeves on and off for eight years. Their sleeves are unique-looking, well-designed, and durable. The midsection of the case hugs your laptop tightly, while the corners have some slack to make taking it in and out easier. This design also helps with sizing - since they're a little elastic, they don't have to be perfectly matched to the dimensions of your laptop to fit snugly, unlike many other cases. While they're not quite as protective as hard shell cases, they're much better than cloth, as the neoprene does a pretty good job of absorbing small-to-medium shocks. They'll protect against spills, but if left around liquid too long (e.g. a water bottle bursts in your bag and you don't notice for an hour or two), some will seep through the seams, particularly the zippers. Total immersion would probably flood the case instantly. Overall, a great case. I recommend 100%. Sometimes their website has better deals than Amazon - check there first before buying.
