Ordinarily it would be hard to get that excited about an extractor fan but this product warrants special mention. Or maybe the lockdown has finally got to me…Anyway, my primary concern was noise and I worried this unit may prove to be too loud, especially since the utility room in which it was going to be located is adjacent to a TV/breakfast room. I needn’t have worried; sure on the highest speed setting you wouldn’t want to be trying to listen to the TV but even then it isn’t overly obtrusive. There are actually 3 speeds; we have ours on the lowest and it still clears all humidity. In fact it’s so quiet that we often forget to switch it off after the laundry is done. There are other features available with this model such as a humidity sensor and overrun timer functions. Note that the latter will require both a permanent and a switched live feed.Finally, as can be seen from the photo I purchased the optional Flush Mounting Kit and if you have space within the ceiling void, it makes for a much simpler and unobtrusive installation. Isn’t it great when a product actually meets your expectations..!

Love the product and this is the second one I've bought and fitted. I had forgotten how much of a pain it is completing a ceiling install! You'll need a second pair of hands at a few points and it's a bit of hassle but well worth the effort.

Choice is very limited when it comes to kitchen rated surface mounted extractor fans so, despite its flaws, this is my preferred option.One of the fixing points is too close to the cable entry hole.Out of the 4 of this model I have fitted, 2 have come with a nylon cover fixing screws missing its head (the two faulty ones were from different suppliers and a 6+ month gap so not a batch issue).Check the cover fixing screws on delivery or have spare M4 white nylon slotted machine screws to hand for installation.
