Why did you pick this product vs others?:I’ve been using red light therapy for years. I have EDS, a connective tissue disorder, so I have frequent problems and joint degeneration. Red light therapy has helped tennis elbow, tendonitis, botched surgery healing, and to put off an inevitable knee replacement. RLT has been holding it off for 4 yrs now. If I stop using RLT, my knee will start hurting so much I have to put on a knee brace to be able to walk with more comfort. After a few days of using it, I can walk without the knee brace.I bought this unit recently because I got sick of holding the portable unit that I had and liked that this one is able to just Velcro on a body part. I frequently just put it on my knee, set the timer for 30 minutes when I go to sleep. It shuts off without fail. You can set it in increments of 5 minutes up to 30. It gets slightly warm which feels nice. I recently have started using it on my 16.5 year-old pitbull. She is getting very wobbly on her feet, as well as her back legs are starting to fail her and she falls occasionally. I’m hoping this will slow the progression of her legs failing her. She did seem to get up out of bed a bit easier this morning, but she may just be having a good day. I’ve been using this red light therapy pad for a few weeks now, and it’s made a noticeable difference in my lower back pain. The warmth is soothing, and the adjustable timer is a nice touch for safe sessions. It wraps comfortably around my knees, making it super convenient. I even feel more energized after consistent use. Honestly, it’s become part of my nightly routine—highly recommend!

It works. However can someone explain the settings . The manual is very vague on how to use different settings.

I have heard a lot about red light therapy and with pain everywhere I had to try it. I found great relief while using it for my knees and shoulder. It is more effective than a heating pad and it last longer that. The size is great for targeting pain. I will continue to use it and look forward to using it on my back pain.

I’ve had this product since March 24 and now it’s broke. It will not turn on. I did send a message to the company. Hopefully they will make good with this.

This particular IR light pad is a reasonable size and strength for a reasonable price. You can use it with just Infrared, with just Red light, or with both. You can have it at 4 levels of strength, you can have it a solid shining light, or a pulsing light. It has an automatic shut off at 30 minutes, or you can set it to shut off at a different number of minutes (it goes up by 5) less than the 30. It is easy to use, I just lay it across wherever I want it. Shoulder, back, knees, hands and fingers or anywhere I need it. It comes with a belt-type thing that you can wrap around like the picture shows, but I didn't find that helpful and don't use it. This is a great buy, you can't go wrong.

Used about weekly and within 3 months, it shorted out
