Love them but...
Unfortunately I had to send them back as I required a bigger size 10.5 Uk but they didn't have, extremely gutted as they were beautifully made. I hope their customer service sees this and contacts me back with a bigger size as I would buy again.

Best Brand to try barefoot shoes with. Sizing initially feels big until it doesn't
I tried a few other brands including the 5 toe stuff and had almost given up on going barefoot. Then a martial artist friend recommended these. It took me 3-6 months to completely convert. I am stronger, my movement is better, I would never go back.

Not the most comfortable
Over the past decade I have worn 4 or 5 types of vibrams. Sizes may differ very slightly, but nevertheless they all fit and were comfortable. The V-Alpha also fit well but this was the first time upon putting it on for the first 2 times, the heel hurts and caused blisters. Never had such experiences with all the other types of vibrams. One thing I do like is the protection of the soles for walking in trails and on foot path. Personally for daily walks, I do prefer the V-Treks more.

Gait Improvement
FiveFingers are a very unique shoe. I haven't worn them in several years. I walk and hike frequently and have noticed my strides getting longer, with my heel absorbing most of the impact of each step. I bought these FiveFingers to use while walking to retrain my stride to use my whole foot. After a couple of weeks, I've noticed my strides and gait changing, with more forefoot taking more of the impact. FiveFingers allow you to walk virtually barefoot while protecting your feet.
