I won’t kid you the instructions are lacking. But don’t be afraid to take a chance it’s easier than it looks and then you think. In total actual time it only took me about 5 1/2 hours and it could’ve taken less. Had I found my damn hole saw faster. But that’s my fault. The unit itself seems to be pretty flawless. It operates perfectly. It maintains temperature really well and I have it running at full blast at 61° in the hottest part of my house. And it’s working very well.

I installed this in our studio and haven't had any issues since installing! Works as well as any other that i have had and got it for a real good price! Just as easy to install as the others!

This mini-split does work quite well in an outside shed. But, the outside unit sometimes rattles - it occurs whenever the outside unit kicks on and it lasts about 30 seconds - it is not a terrible amount of noise but it is an annoyance. The bigger issue has been that the internal unit leaks a little bit of water from the backside of the inside unit - it is not that the water pan is not working or that the inside unit is not level in all directions or that the drain hose is clogged - it is that the fan in the inside unit picks up water from the evaporator fins and lets it out the backside of the inside unit - my solution for this was to take a large garbage bag and make funnel out of it and let it drain outside. So, I have a working unit (albeit not ideal). I did not want to go thru the trouble of trying to uninstall and returning it as the policy seems to be that they will only give you a full refund for unopened units. I tried to contact the seller - but they did not respond. I do not recommend this ACONEE brand.

Absolutely useless directions, not for your average DIYer. The volts and watts are not even listed in the booklet that came with it. After two days and a lot of head scratching, finally got it hooked up and running. If you are not handy. Plan on hiring someone to install. Now for the good parts, it does come pre charged, it is super quiet. It seems to work amazingly, and of course a great price. If it just had more information or even a web site it probably would have gotten a 5 star.

A great value. Cools and heats nicely

I give this product 5 stars due to its features and funtionality. I agree that the instuctions are sparse but there are a multitude of Youtube videos that show step by step how to install. If you intend to DIY, count on spending for a vaccuum pump, torque wrench, electrical supplies and a good hole saw (especially if drilling through concrete). This item has transformed my garage. I live in Fl and my garage now feels as comfortable as the rest of my house. The unit is incredibly quiet and efficient. It has multiple modes and can heat, cool and dehumidify automatically. I love it!

Great little until. Just make sure you know how to install it and have the equipment to do so. The lines are pre charged but you still need special equipment to install. Not for the novice. But great little unit.

The unit seem to look nice and function as expected. It is very quiet which is what I was looking for. Installation was easy to follow. It didn't come with the electric cord going to the main disconnect box, so you'll have to provide your own. The main reason I gave it a 3 star is because it came damaged in the lower corner. The box was torn but I kept it because I didn't see the coils damage. Better packaging and better shipping handling on the freight company could have avoided this.
