nice tie, good quality. it's thicker fabric than the cheaper ties you'll find on Amazon. kind of a hunter green and darker stripes.

I was looking for a simple black tie for funerals, and it is surprisingly difficult to find a good option as many ties are too shiny, or too busy for a somber occasion. This black tie has a perfect sheen to it, shiny enough without seeming "cheap." The alternating grid/self-stripe texture is also nice, subtle and elegant. The material makes for a nice clean knot, and dimples easily as a good tie should. I looked into alternatives from J Press, Brooks Brothers, and other well-known brands, but this inexpensive tie was a great alternative to much pricier options.
