Digital Milligram Scale 50g/0.001g High Precision with 20g Calibration

I purchased this Digital Milligram Scale to measure my cat's medication, and it has been a fantastic tool. When it comes to sensitive medicine, you have to be absolutely precise, and these scales are incredibly accurate and easy to use. My cat is healthy and doing great, which gives me immense peace of mind.The only minor downside is that milligram scales are highly sensitive by nature. You need to use them in a room with no draft or wind, and you have to calibrate them frequently to ensure the reading is perfect. Overall, it is an excellent purchase for anyone needing precision weighing.

This is a very sensitive and accurate scale. I use this to wiegh powders. You should only use the little bowl it comes with. The stainless steel plate it comes with is not fixed and has a tiny gap around the edge that things can fall into and mess up the load cell. The cup it comes with is polished smooth with no texture and no lip on the edge. Perfect for weighing powders. The gram setting is rock solid, however the other modes are more sensitive like for oz is 0.0001 I see videos posted of people using these modes and the display will not settle. That is cause it is so sensitive that air currents, walking near or or even breathing near this scale can change the outcome. The solution is to use the clear plastic cover and close it to prevent air from affecting the scale. But the plastic cover when fully closed pushes on the little bowl making an incorrect wieght. For that I would take a star off or two but the price is so good compared to what you get. Just dont latch the cover all the way. This is not a scale you want to take with you out and about. It is too sensitive and you could damage it. For that I would get a 0.01 scale. I uploaded video and pictures of weighing a drop of water and other things. If the scale is ever off a bit, it comes with a wieght for recalibration.

It’s a super accurate scale. Great price two. The 4 stars is because the metal weighing tray doesn’t cover the space and you can drop product in the cracks. Also the texture of the plastic has ridges and makes it harder to clean. If you are weighing “neat” items like jewelry it’s amazing.

Purchased this item to help me break down pill medication‘s for my very small dog. Super Accurate and small enough to just store in a drawer. Glad I purchased it to help me measure out teeny weights for a teeny dog!

It’s so nice that milligram accurate (reasonably accurate anyhow, the smaller the amount of material/weight the less accurate it seems to be although I would say that it really only seems to become an issue when you’re attempting to weigh amounts less than say ~50mgs or less) scales are now so affordable and widely available. I love this scale, it’s my second one I’ve purchased, with the first one being used semi frequently for at least 5-6 years before I inevitably knocked it off a higher level surface onto a concrete floor this rendering it technically still functional but after it took such a hard impact (if I’m being honest I think I likely dropped it more than just once lol) I just decided to go ahead and get myself a new one with a more aesthetically appealing (imo) color scheme. And I’m glad I did since the build quality seems to have improved some since the original one I purchased. Either way you can’t beat the price of this.

It works for what I need just fine and although something is not perfectly accurate (their 20g weight reading 19.812-19.814g) it’s an acceptable margin of error for my use case. -1 more star for that metal dish included comes with very sharp edges. Just taking it out of the packaging and grabbing by the edges cut my finger and drew blood.

Great little kit, tested the weight that it comes with and it zeroed perfectly, very accurate and feels pretty sturdy, it’s decently small definitely not pocket size but small enough you could forget about it. I do like the extra battery storage on the back!
