Great for Children
I bought this for my 8 yo son. It's a great electric guitar for children. My son can play the guitar easily. It looks cool and sounds great.

Sounds just like a full-sized Stratocaster.
We bought this Mini for our seven year old son who wanted to learn. It is small and easy enough for him to use and he loves it. This is a perfect guitar for kids and adults with smaller hands/fingers - I (mother) tried playing it and had no problems. It sounds amazing and the string and fret pressure ratio is perfect for kids who do not have a lot of strength in their fingers or haven't developed callouses on their fingertips yet - so each note is so easy for them to play. This is where this guitar really stands out from cheaper brands (which we found often required a lot of finger pressure to play each note) and makes it well worth the money. I highly recommend this guitar.
