SmartBedz Eticat Natural Cat Litter 5.5 kg

My cat has never been fussy about the type of litter, she just likes it clean. Looks like wood pellets we've had before but she wouldn't use it. She has used clay, wood, paper and those posh crystal things too - no problem. But, and I've no idea why - maybe it smelled funny or felt funny to her, she hated this. Gave it to the ferret as he just goes in the same place and doesn't care what's in it. It wasn't as absorb ant or as great with smells than other wood based litters we've used. Won't be getting it again.

This litter does not clump, I therefore found it less economical to use than the clumping type of litter as I was having to completely change the tray more often. It is impossible to sift out the soiled litter because the particles of dry litter are quite large and therefore stay in the scoop, while the soiled litter, which resembles sawdust, drops through the holes in the scoop and back on top of the clean litter. On the plus side I didn't notice much of a smell from it when used, and there was little tracking, however I will reverting back to using the World's Best clumping litter.

Not a bad product very easy to dispose of, but I wouldn't say it's the best product on the market. I have bought other products that absorbs a lot more and as I have two cats this is very important to me.

I am currently training my cats to go on the toilet with CitiKitty, to which I needed flushable litter. After a quick search I found Eticat and it does as described. It is easy to use and it lasts for a very good while, even with two cats. (granted you clean up after almost every toilet-visit.) Would have given it five stars if it had not been for the packaging, because it is a little hard to get it opened without tearing it apart and almost having it spill everywhere.

Does all it promises. It's also very lightweight, so no more struggling with heavy clay. Anyone who has sore hands or bad shoulders will like this product. Over time, it costs about the same to use as the cheap light weight clay from the supermarket.Also very good for a cat with kidney disease, who pee an amazing amount (one 'sitting' ends up 2 scoops full), and even at that amount it still flushes nicely. Also, it is very easy to scoop up.

I was hoping that this litter would be better than the one I used before. The good thing is there's no dust when my kitten trying to hide the poo. The bad thing is that the wooden pieces are falling apart and there's mess everywhere. Plus the pee is a nightmare to clean as the little pieces are stuck at the bottom of the litter box 😔

On a the plus side, there is comparatively little to to dispose of. And it doesn't leave a bad smell. But on the minus side, there's lots of wet litter in the box(es) and cats (I have 3 indoors) scatter the sawdust all over the house - a daily hoovering up job. If you or your cats aren't fussy, this probably doesn't matter, but be warned - the Prime regular order is now suddenly very slow and unreliable (as at May 2017), so don't bet on having enough to last you through!

Arrived on time,pleased enough with price,but I was previously buying my cats a similar cat litter to this,but then a friend gave me catsan, which they seemed to much prefer!! So since,then I have been purchasing similar to this!! Hence, my rating..
