Decent.
The product is misadvertised as a 12000 lumen LED headlight set. That would be 6000 lumens per bulb. It is not. The spec sheet shows that this product is an 8000 lumen bulb set; 4000 lumens per bulb. I measured the light output with a lux meter and I read close to 4000 lux about two feet in front of the bulb. This measurement matches the spec sheet.Installation was simple, install adapter, attach mounting ring, insert and lock bulb, attach plug. Done - almost. I found out that for my application a canbus decoder was needed to avoid flashing on high beam, resetting the radio and activating the passenger air bag warning light.I emailed Mars Auto and received a reply back within 24 hours. I cannot expect a parts dealer to know all things about all vehicles. In this case a 2006 Dodge Grand Caravan that uses the Chrysler SCI data bus instead of the canbus. They offered to supply a canbus decoder. Since I need lights now and not in two weeks, I found a Heise 9007 canbus resistive decoder locally. I used a drill to drill two holes and mounted the decoders with zip ties in the headlight housing. and the installation was done. The disappointing part, though excusable, was that Mars Auto could not tell me if a resistive or capacitive decoder was required. Both are simply resistors or capacitors, and sometime both, wired in parallel with the light to increase the resistance or smooth out pulses on pulse width buses. This is information which a parts seller should be expected to have.I have included two pictures taken from the drivers seat inside the vehicle. The low and high beam provide very good light. driving down a gravel road I could see the individual pieces of gravel that I could never see with halogen bulbs. I have sent back other bulbs that had a color spectrum of 6500 degrees kelvin. Though I did not send the bulbs back because of the color - I sent them back because they were not 9007 bulbs - I did drive with them to test light output and beam focus. The 6500 kelvin spectrum bulb had enough blue in the light that it blended with the road and made seeing the road difficult. These Mars Auto bulbs are only 500 degrees kelvin cooler in color, but the lesser blue highlighted the road. The spec sheet shows that the bulb uses the Cree CSP chips, but does not identify which ones. This information is needed in the packaging and on the Amazon page. While I did measure the light output at 25 feet, I do not trust the measurements. About a week and a half ago I refinished the headlight lens' on the van. After polishing, I sprayed the lens with an acrylic UV and anti yellowing clearcoat. The clearcoat crazed, and I spent two hours the next day sanding the clearcoat off and repolishing. I have ordered new lenses, but they did not arrive before this test. looking at the current lenses with the lights on there are a number of defects that would make an accurate light measurement unreliable. Next week the new lenses will arrive. Maybe then I can update with a reading at 25 feet. The claim of canbus ready is a marketing gimmick that is meant to deceive people into believing that no canbus decoder is needed. It certainly fooled me. Nor was I even sure that a decoder would work on the SCI bus, but it did. The product needs to be marketed with a canbus decoder. All in all, this product is a very good product that does not overheat. However, the marketing misstatements need to be corrected. I will be keeping the product.

Fantastic bright and works great on 2010 F-150
Every car or truck I buy the first update is to buy LED headlight bulbs, this is critical in dark Northwest most of the year. It's a critical safety upgrade. Could not do without.

Bright LED
As you can see from the picut that there is a huge difference between the original f250 bulb and the new LED.

2012 Nissan Frontier - 9007/HB5 Led Headlight Bulbs
4 out of 5 do to two modifications I had to make in order for the lights to work.Installation was fairly straight forward. I HIGHLY recommend using the video Marsauto has on the page where you purchase the lights on Amazon as it is very helpful. Also if you YouTube a video on how to instal LED lights in a 2012 Nissan Frontier, there are tons of examples on how to remove the headlight bulbs if you don't know how.Anyway, first thing was to remove the battery because it blocks the passenger side bulb. Then you remove the black clip that connect the wire harness to the current bulb (push down the big pin and pull with a good amount of force. It does not come out easy. Pull straight out, do not make rocking motion). Once the clip is off, there is a big plastic spin lock that has to come off. Then the bulb just pulls out.For the drivers side, the intake piping is kind of in the way but if you are careful you can remove the light without removing it like some videos show. That is what I did. BE MINDFUL that when you're pulling the clip off of the main headlight that if it comes out and you pull too far you will rip out the turn signal wire.Lastly you will remove the black washer with red rubber seal and place this inside the headlight hole. It needs to sit flat so push and turn until it lays flat. Once in place, use the spin lock to lock it into place. (It takes a little force because you have to depress the rubber seal on the washer in while turning the spin lock). Then line up the grooves on the inside of the black washer with the tabs on the headlight bulb. Put the bulb in and push until it fully seats and then turn it to lock it in. BE AWARE the LEDs are labels H for high beam and L for low beam. If you put them upside-down, they will be reversed when you turn your lights on. If this happens just remove the bulb and rotate it 180 degrees and put it back in.Finally attach new clip to old harness and try out the lights.PROS: Super bright and an absolutely complete difference from the OEM bulbs. The lights were always dull on the Frontier but now they shine as bright as you'd expect from a brand new truck with projector headlight.Obviously I do not know how long they last, I will follow up if they fail at any point or in 6 months.CONS: Either the metal prongs in the connector were too short or the black plastic on the male end of the new headlight bulbs was too long. The lights wouldn't work at first unless I pushed the male and female connectors together. To fix, I used scissors to trim about 1/4 inch off of the plastic housing on the male end of the new bulbs.OVERALL VERY EASY TO INSTALL AND SEEMS TO BE A VERY GOOD LIGHT!

I love 'em. So much better than halogen.
Huge improvement for my Nissan Titan. I knew what I was getting as I put them on my Chevy Silverado. Much better visability. Easy to install.

BRIGHT and EASY !!!
VERY surprised so far !!! Straight forward install ( same as original headlights ), enormous difference in brightness from halogen lamps, working low and high beams, I don’t know what else to say but 10/10 !!! What a difference !!! I don’t know how long they will last ( hopefully a long time ) as I just installed them a couple hours ago. In the picture: left is the led light, and right is the halogen bulb.

Need to see at night? Mission accomplished
Flickers lightly when cold start and on running lights. Easy install. No flicker when on low or high beam. Super bright.

Night and day
I have a 2004 dodge 3500 and the lights are terrible, so I decided to upgrade to LED and what a massive difference I would also like to add that I polished the headlight lenses because they where scratched and a bit cloudy.

Excellent light output
If you read the instructions, installation is not bad. I first tried to install the complete unit, instead of the adapter first. It can be done, but not worth the effort in my application.Light output is fantastic. There are distinct high, and low beams. Mine flickered, which was fixed with $15 set of resistors. Now for the fun part. High beams stayed on in hi or lo, and lo could only engage by pulling the 'flash to pass' switch. Testing with a multimeter, and confirmed with jumper wires, the vehicle uses a common ground, and switched +12v to either hi or lo. The Marsauto 9007 LEDs are pinned for common +12v, and ground either hi or lo side to complete the circuit. The vendor responded promptly to each communication, and gave me a full refund when they could not provide a solution. Great service, great product, just not compatible with most older American vehicles without wiring some relays or electronics. I have been unable to find a commercial solid state module to plug and play, so I guess I'm building my own. In the mean time it can be set up with relays to function, but they are clunky and unreliable.
