Bosch T5002A 10 pc. T-Shank Jig Saw Blade Set for Wood and Metal

Recently needed to cut some cut out some 4X4 inch squares on cupboard doors for installing frosted glass. Wanted to ensure the blade I would use, would make cutting the squares quick and, easy. So I decided to buy these jig blades. Needless to say that yep, these work perfectly! High quality blades, they give you a variety of blades for cutting different sizes. And to cut either wood or metal! The blades are just the right thickness in my opinion too! Thick enough to be durable. Yet slim enough to get in smaller areas if need be to complete your DIY projects. They effortlessly snap/lock right in place. Easy to remove and switch out. Can easily recommend these to anyone needing to get jig saw blades. That want a fair price, good quality, reliability!

These are some great little blades, especially for the price. They are very easy to use, fit great, and cut through anything it’s made to cut through with ease.

It worked. These were bought for a Bauer jigsaw, t-bit, universal. The T11B cut through the pipe just until the end when the teeth were just a little too far apart to stop from biting. Should try the T11A as the teeth are tighter.

I have used cheapo jig saw blades for years and years, and I hve NEVER been satisfied with how a jig saw cuts. Always beveled cuts, never straight lines. I ALWAYS blamed it on operator error. Well recently my 15 year old jig saw fell apart (the abs housing gave way and the shoe plate fell off. My wife treated me to a new saw for Fathers Day and told me to order the one I wanted. I went cheap (BD JS660) but decided to order some good blades. Well these are the NUTS. Most Blades will cut wood pretty well, but there are clues as to how well. The most obvious to me is the leading edge of the cut. Cheap blades will have this little curl that leads the cut (not sure what it is called...kerf maybe?). Even a brand new out of the box blase does this (for me at least). Orbital-nonorbital-slow-fast it has always been there, until now. These blades cut AMZINGLY clean. No matter what the setting, no matter what the speed (within reason of course). Beautiful level straight cuts! I have not tried out the metal blades yet but I'm expecting the same great results.

This set was purchased as a gift, but I always get Bosch blades because they do a great job and last longer than any other blade I've tried. The wood blades don't even have a problem with treated wood. The first metal cutting blade I "retired" was after cutting countless metal siding pieces, and finally some angle iron. When it began to slow down, I found that most of the teeth had been worn down. That was a lot of cutting in some difficult material. A few years ago I bought a Bosch jig saw, that came with the blades. When I began using it, I could not believe it kept doing the job for so long, and I've been using jig saws for almost 40 years. The same blade has been used for months at a time. Highly recommend giving Bosch blades a try, as the amount of work they put out is unreal. Don't throw money away on "bargain" blades, if they can't finish a project. You will be able to finish many projects with these blades.

I saw Felix Immler's video on using T-Shank jigsaw blades with a Victorinox back layer hook, and decided to try it with these blades. It works! I bought some 3/16" marine grade 3:1 heat shrink tubing and covered the entire T-Shank with it. The hook rests perfectly on it - very stable.
