This was very easy to install and it has a smooth action. The finish is nice, the materials feel high quality, and I expect it to last a lifetime. I like that the wheels are almost fully enclosed by the rail, both hiding them and keeping them free of debris over time. The action is relatively quiet too. The main bar requires you to drill your own mount holes which has some pros and cons. It requires you to have a power drill so know that going in but it also lets you choose the where to place the screw holes based on your specific setup and doesn’t leave you with extra holes visible. The instructions could have been better but everything is pretty obvious and I got it installed quickly.

The first thing is the item arrived weeks later and the package was damaged.No instructions were includedSome hardware was missing but I was able to install.I don't know it if was UPS fault or the shipper just sent was was left over. I will evaluate the durability inanother review.

I know, I know, what kind of geek uses fancy barn door box railing for hanging markerboards? ME! I am that kind of geek! I have (and use!) more markerboards at my home-office than I have wall-space for, but these 96" long (continuous, not sectional!) rails allow for me to mount big whiteboards IN FRONT of other stationary whiteboards, so that I can add more writing surfaces. (I used wood studs, horizontal, in lieu of a barn door, with the track hardware-- and mounted my whiteboard to the wood. A little DIY magic and BAM, sliding office markerboards!)Really great high-quality hardware for daily high-traffic use, more than up for the task of my application, and I assume even moreso for a heavy barn door as intended! Great product.

This door track simple to install comes with everything you need to install your door. All parts seem to be good quality. Good product for the cost of this kit.

This sliding door kit arrived packaged well and as described.The installation is pretty straightforward if you have done a sliding door before, if not they do include instructions, best to watch a few videos prior to attempting installation. The track can be shortened which is a nice feature. The included hardware and rollers are decent quality. The finish on the track had no defects.You will need to add a strip of wood to the wall for the track, this way it allows the door to protrude past the wall. Every set up will be a little different, I used a 1 inch thick strip for my application.Overall this is a good product that functions as designed and I believe it to be a good value. I opted to use a solid core door, as it slid better than a hollow core one, also it made less noise.

I was hoping I was reading the description correctly, and indeed it is 96" of unbroken channel! Very helpful! For a project I have planned, where it spans a gap, other options that piece together are not acceptable. This will also undoubtedly help the smooth running of the bearing wheels.

I used this kit to make drawer pull out for the back of my truck for camping. The instructions were not needed for my application but I found assembly not difficult and Im sure if it was used as its intended purpose, the instructions would not be hard to follow. Typically on kits like these I find the lack of good quality hardware in the screws and bolts but I found these to be exceptionally good quality. All the bearings were nice and didnt need anything.

We installed a barn door in the hallway last year but we cheaped out on the hardware. The track we used isn't robust enough to bear the weight of the door and it was becoming pretty obvious that it would fail soon if we didn't swap it out. Ultimately, this one didn't cost anymore than the original one but it's much sturdier. Everything from the track itself to the wheel assemblies are all a significant upgrade from the first one we installed. Now when we open or close the door we don't have to hold our collective breath!
