October 2020So first off I didn't buy this from Amazon. Got it from elsewhere as they had a 3 month money back offer on at the time. I am a sceptical git😊So I have been using this for 1 year now. 3 times a week for 3 minutes as directed.No, this will not reverse baldness, I still have my bald patch, but it does stimulate any remaining hairs or roots to grow.I have noticed that the hair I have is now thicker and definitely healthier. My 'widows peak' has covered up and my bald patch is less noticeable, but like I said, it's still there.I'm not embarrassed about my bald patch, but I suffer from eczema and have always had an itchy scalp. So light therapy was always an option, and this brand had the best reputation, so I thought I'd give it a go, sort of get a 2 for 1 treatment.Yes, it has got rid of the itchy scalp and as a bonus I have more hair. I'm now 50 years old, at this age my dad, grandad and great grandad had varying versions of a comb over😅. I thankfully don't need to do that.In summary, if your bald, it won't do anything. If you have thinning receding hair, give it a go. At worst you scalp will feel better!Update October 2021Unit still working, hair is in good condition, eczema still under control. Bald patch has grown slightly, widow's peak more noticeable.Still doing better than my genetic predecessors.Would I buy another if this one packs up, definitely. The improvement in my scalp alone is worth the investment and I've still got the majority of my hair, well mostly!Wow, where does the time go? It's now March 2024, and yes I'm still using this contraption. It still holds its charge and all the led's still work and guess what, I still have my hair. Still got the bald patch, maybe it's slightly thinner hair round the edges now, but I'm 53 and my dad had no hair on top of his head at this age, and believe me I'm a carbon copy of my dad. Plus still no eczema on my head! Yes I understand this doesn't work for everyone, maybe I'm just lucky, up to you.

I've used this for 7 months now, 3 times a week, 3-9 minutes per session, never missed one. I've started with 3 minutes as per instructions and after 4 months I saw no results to i ramped it up to 6-9 minutes. Doesn't seem to do anything to the receding hairline. I really wanted it to work, I will continue to use it but so far no results. My hair is a lot thinner in the front now compared to November 2019. I googled for some pictures before/after using hairmax and I do not believe that new hair can grow 1-3 cm in 6-8 months like I've seen in some pictures, that's not going to happen, at least in my case. I also had hairmax laser comb bought 6-7 years ago. I've used the comb for 1 year and stopped using it, preatty useless.I will use it another 6-12 months or so just to be sure, but I don't think it'll work. The rating is based on my experince with it and, for now, I cannot recomment it. If you afford it and want to try be my guest. Maybe provide your experience with it.I will update my review if I see results.PS: I'm not bald, i just have thinning hair in front.
