Outstanding! These fit into the slot better than the stock DeWalt inserts. They are sturdy, true, and easy to install. I'm very happy with them.

I like the plates for my Dewalt 7491 Pros 1) well made(fit, function) 2)material(low drag) 3)value (time savings over making from scratch) Cons 1) the two “hold down” tabs are absent from the design (you rely on the work piece to hold the plate down) it only slightly rose-up once for me 2) leveling adjustments (you’ll need to grind the screws down for use) 3) initial dado for blade (made for 8 1/2” blade not 10”, I started with a 7 1/4, finished w/10”) Note: The top material is very chippy, use tape or top board for first plunge cut.

Perfect fit for my DeWalt table saw. I just got a new dado set and I've never had one on this saw. These MDF inserts are perfect. They are "exactly" the same size as the opening, so they might be too snug and need a small adjustment with some sandpaper, but I like it being press to fit. The backing is varying thickness which gives it stiffness much like the metal one that comes with the saw. Because this is a multi pack I am able to set one up for my thin kerf laminate blade and several of my dado sizes. Good purchase. Stable. Solid functioning. And flexible where it matters.

This set of 4 inserts look great out of the box. Each piece varies in (a loose-fit) and each is not flat, as reviewed by previous buyers. These are out-of-flat by <2mm, enough to make them useless. I placed them in a 350deg oven for 8 minutes to stress relieve and then set them in a press, restrained, while they cooled in a restrained flat condition. That worked but it's not ideal but is adequate for my DW7491 I purchased these on the chance that the flatness issue was resolved by mfr or, at worst case, I would have templates to make my own. They're ok because they're $6 each. It's not worth the hassle to return

Don’t buy them looking for perfect. The screws they send don’t work and the screws that come with the saw don’t fit in these. No adjustment. Very cheep. I tried to save some money by getting these and they don’t work like you’d expect. I’m a finish carpenter and was looking for what you’re probably looking for and these are not it.

Had to file to fit riving knife. The material left is fiber board and very fragile. Broke one trying to fit it first try. Reinforced with thin CA glue, then filed to fit riving knife. Still such a small amount of material keeping it from collapsing in towards the blade. Don't recommend using with riving knife.

I have 7491xe. These are very well made. Good MDF with a plastic coating making them smooth. Recieved 4 in total The are a very tight fit meaning little sanding would be needed at each end. Comes with screws. Other wise great product

If you follow the directions during your first cut (tape and clamp a board over the blade) you will not get chip out from the blade. My big problem with these are that they do not lie flat. In other words, if you turn them over and lie on a flat surface you will see a gap in the middle. All have this issue, and this is even before you install them. If you do end up using them and need to add the screws for adjustments, the tips of the screws will need to filed down. I have a DeWalt 7491RS. I cannot recommend due to the warping.
