I bought these to fish sludge out of my central heating system (I do NOT recommend this application to anyone else) and found them perfect for the job. Riveted (cautiously) a magnet to a flexible electrician's tape and kept poking into the blocked pipe at the end of the run till there was no more magnetite to be found. Very tedious but oddly satisfying. I did have a few minutes of worry when I couldn't pull it back out again, since losing it in the pipe would have caused an almighty blockage! Good strong magnets whose forcefields reach through my hand.

Super Strong & Versatile
These magnets, whilst being quite small are unbelievably strong! The clasp on my wife’s handbag was irreparable so I super-glued a couple of these ( that could have been sewn or stitched into place) and the repair is perfect.If you use these as fridge magnets beware that they are not easy to remove because they are so strong.Good value.
