HunterFan Company, 99162, White Linen Glass Bowl

I wasn’t sure if this would fit all hunter fans. But it fit mine. I don’t remember how the original one looked. It broke so needed a replacement. I like the white frost. Fit perfectly. Comes with 2 holes for fan and light. Hole for light is in the middle screw and hole for fan is on the side.

This genuine Hunter product was exactly as I expected and it will work well, dramatically improving the light output of my fan light compared to the dark amber colored light globe the fan came with.There is one thing you should realize. Depending on your fan model and the type of light blubs you have installed, you may need to buy longer thread lamp pipe nipples like I did. Without the longer nipple (the threaded metal tube that holds the lamp globe to the fan) I didn't have enough threads to safely attach the very heavy globe to the fan and I didn't want it to fall on anyone from my 12 foot ceiling. Many types and lengths of pipe nipple are available on Amazon from many manufacturers.

My ceiling fans came with these cheapo plastic light covers that looked cheesy. I found these glass covers that are a bit bigger in diameter and height than the plastic ones, but they look soooo much better! The glass cover has a frosted pattern to it which I like, compared to the flat white plastic cover. It makes the fan look more expensive.The hole in the bottom of this glass cover is big enough to accomodate 2 pull chains-one for the fan and 1 for the light and it comes with the metal piece with 2 holes that attaches the cover to the fan, but I used my existing piece to attach the cover.

I have a house full of Hunter Berkley fans and this is a perfect fit and looks better than the original one that came with the fan.

Allows more light out than my not patterned, but slightly tan bowl that came with the fan. I had to use the old plate and screw as the screw of my fan was too short

I bought this to replace the existing, darker toned light globe on my ceiling fan. Without changing bulbs or any other factors, my dining room is brighter and feels more up-scale.

After a ton of frustration trying to find a replacement bowl shade for our disc'd Hunter ceiling fan, I came across this one. Because our fan is 44", I was assured it 'should' fit. It arrived very quickly, perfectly protected in a snug bubble wrap and cardboard packaging. It is attractive frosted white glass, with a slight linen/flecked appearance. It came with the nickel/pewter decorative trim and finial as shown. At first, this did not fit our fan, where the finial and cap were applied after putting the shade up... there wasn't enough depth on the threaded bolt. I assembled the finial and plate first, then screwed all that plus the shade to the light bulb assembly, and it fit perfectly. What a huge relief! I was very upset we'd have to purchase a brand new ceiling fan, just because our shade unfortunately got broken

We looked everywhere for a shade to fit our ceiling fan. Happy to find this on amazon. The shade has an extra hole for a pull cord. Very crisp, clean look, with subtle white shading. We thought it was a bit expensive for just a glass bowl, but still it’s much cheaper than replacing the whole fan.
