Good product
Fit nicely. Have been using Kingfa masks since Covid19.

Nice and thick, exactly what I needed - ear loop is a bit tight
The box came a little beat up but the content inside was fine since they were in sealed bags. I have to say Amazon did not use a box for my purchase that the masks and another unrelated item. Lately Amazon ships things in plastic bags for small items/purchase. Well, a box of masks is considered small. Anyway, I am happy with my purchase. It is the real deal since every mask has the stamp of the brand name (kingfa) on it with some numbers. The masks are thick and comfy to use. No smell. So far so good. I am happy with my purchase.

Found filtration efficiency data online
I've never written a product review before, but I figure I would share what I found online. I bought 2 boxes of these on blind faith and some good reviews on Amazon. Usually, I do more research, but could not find much online with respect to these being good at filtering particles/viruses. The boxes I received are marked as model KF-A F04. Although Kingfa has products listed on the FDA website as approved for use in the US under the EUA, those are for models: KF-A F01 and KF-A F10(SC). I recently found a website claiming that MIT, amongst others, is testing Chinese KN95 masks and posting results to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health’s website for PPE guidance. I looked on the MA website and found a page titled "Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) During COVID-19." On this page there is a document link titled "KN95 Respirator Test Results." After searching through this, I found what appears to be the same King Fa box I received although the document does not list an exact model number. Assuming this is indeed the same model, the filtration efficiency is listed as 87.4%. I will caveat this, as the MA site did, by saying that this is not a NIOSH-certified laboratory doing the testing, but they are trying to follow the same testing methodologies. There were a great number of other "KN95" masks in this document that tested lower (sometimes 50% or less). Perhaps this did not reach the 95% threshold, but I feel pretty good about 87+% filtration in a world where I might otherwise be wearing a facemask that would likely score lower on such a test. Additionally, these were some of the lower-priced KN95 masks available when I bought so I feel good about my purchase. Random final thoughts: 1) I have not actually used these yet, but just tried them on. I can't comment on their durability or comfort. 2) These masks fit me and I'm a pretty big adult. They also fit my 10-year-old son fairly well. He stands 5 ft and weighs about 100 lbs. I did add some tension to the straps behind his head with a plastic hook to try to eliminate gaps. 3) A nice bonus is that the box came with these plastic hooks in it. They appear to be similar in quality to others I have paid for that work well with my children's masks, but I can't speak to the durability of these.

Finally, some REAL KN95’s!
If you’re among the many who’ve spent much of the last few years searching for “real” N- and/or KN95’s (and couldn’t help but wonder if what arrived in the mail from Amazon or elsewhere was actually doing you or your loved ones any good), then read on… In case you haven’t already heard, a healthy percentage of the masks bearing the “KN95” imprint actually don’t meet that criteria, and here’s why. this “In the best of all possible worlds”, an N95 or KN95 mask has 5 layers from front to back, with the inner and outer surface plies there primarily to keep larger particles out (or in) and to be relatively comfortable against the skin. It’s the densest, waxiest-looking, most opaque layers, #2 and 4, that do the real heavy lifting, by keeping particles larger than 2.5 microns wide from gettin into our lungs (or, if we’re ill, from getting into the lungs of those closest to us. Remarkably enough, these two plies look and feel EXACTLY like Gore-Tex fabric, which just happens to filter out water droplets around those sizes…) The fluffy ply in the middle, #3, is mainly there to keep those waxy-looking plies from sticking together, once they’re moistened by our breath. Unfortunately, the only way you can tell if you’ve been honored or screwed at the checkout is by cutting the first mask in a package apart, as you can see I’ve done, here. In about a half dozen of the cases of N95’s and KN95’s that I’ve bought since December of 2019, one of those waxy, opaque layers has been missing, and in one case, both of them were! Thankfully, this isn’t true of these “KINGFA” masks, which I’m happy to report do contain all of the necessary layers. For me, that’s a really big deal because I’m a licensed massage therapist — which means that several times a day, I’m stuck in a small room with another human being for a minimum of an hour at a time, and if either of us has just spent time with someone who’ll test positive for Covid tomorrow morning, we had both better have something protecting us now, and these masks appear to fit the bill.

Great company to buy from
Initially, I was upset with this order. I did not receive what I ordered. Instead of the Kingfa KN95 Face Mask I got the BYD CARE KN95 Respirator masks. I was concerned they were not the same or up to the same standard. I contacted the seller (Amor Tech) and they responded quickly. They apologized that due to demand they were unable to ship the Kingfa masks in a reasonable time and had replaced my order with the BYD masks. They assured me the BYD was indeed the same standard and quality as the Kingfa, they also refunded me for the order and informed me they now had the Kingfa masks in stock. Upon closer inspection, the BYD masks are a true 5 layer mask (I cut one open) and the fit is great on me. I have a larger head, the fit and coverage were excellent. The ear loops were also comfortable. Excellent product and customer service.

Mask Measurements and Comments
These N95 masks were the best value we could find for this type. This isn’t a flat mask that goes across your face. It’s shaped to fit over your nose and below your chin. The top has a metal piece that runs below the edge so you can fit it the mask close to your nose. My husband wear the mask as it was meant to be top to bottom; however; that’s too big for me and my glasses fog up, so I turn the mask around and wear what normally goes over a person’s chin over my nose. When I wear the mask vice versa from the what it was meant to be worn, it fits much better and my glasses do not fog up.Look at the picture of the flat mask with loops when you are viewing the measurements which we have given you below: Top to top of ear loop: 3” Bottom to bottom of ear loop: 2” Height between ear loops: 2” Middle of mask to ear loop: 7” Top to bottom can stretch to height: 6” Sides can stretch to width of 7”

Bait and switch
I ordered a box of these knowing they were the older 2006 designation as opposed to 2019. What people need to know and I constantly see misstated as a complaint in reviews is that KN95 is not NIOSH certified. It’s not supposed to be NIOSH certified. NIOSH only certifies N95 masks made in the USA. KN95 come from China. There is a list in the CDC website of manufacturers that had previously been authorized for use in healthcare when supplies were impossible to find. That emergency authorization has been revoked for all companies for USE IN HEALTHCARE. That does not mean it’s not a good mask for everyday use as long as it was in the website as previously approved it is a good mask. The older designation of 2006 was the previous manufacturing standard to the 2019 designation but are still good as long as the product was not expired. (I am in healthcare). I loved the fit of these masks. They came packaged 5 in a bag and fit great. Were comfortable and they didn’t bother me wearing them all day. I ordered a second box for my son at college who also liked them. When we needed more I ordered 4 boxes for the family. There was a huge delay in receiving them and I did not get what I ordered. Instead I got 4 boxes with labels stating they met the same standards and were what they sold in stores like CVS. The masks were packaged 2 together and were actually even nicer, except for the problem that they were TINY! They are so tight in the ears I have yet to find a single adult including my daughter with a tiny face who can wear them. I can’t give them away because they fit nobody. So I got stuck with 4 boxes of excellent quality expensive masks nobody can use. Over $120 down the drain. If you get the original KINGFA 2006 ones and they aren’t expired yet, great. If you get the replacements good luck.
