Just a small amount of things, such as the blades, but it is mostly already pre built and painted, decals already applied.

How big is it small medium or large

This is a true 1/18 scale military helicopter! It is very large. It will hold & fit 1/18 scale figures (..modern G.I. Joe figures very well). There is three versions of this BBI Elite Force helicopter available: 1) this one that you are inquiring about and 2) The U.S Army version with the fuel tanks on the side which has more seating for figures and 3) the U.S Air Force Pavehawk version which has more seating for figures. This vehicle as well as many other 1/18 scale BBI Elite Force modern day military vehicles get my stamp of approval! These are well made and highly detailed military vehicles.
