Upon opening the box, I was pleased to see very comprehensive English Instructions. I must admit I was able to work things out as I went along. The tiny Polarity Arrows on the small connectors could have been clearer as to which way round the plug and socket fitted together. I was hoping the pins would have been staggered, so they only fitted the correct way round. But. Careful scrutiny showed me the correct way. The advice to connect everything up first is good advice. I had no problems at all. The Strips worked perfectly.I set about fixing the Strips around my Conservatory Facia which is some 6 feet above the floor. I decided it was best to do a "Dummy-Run" using electrical insulating tape to hold the Strips in place, after I found a slight problem with the Strip connecting Lead supplied. This low voltage output Lead from the Transformer is really short. There was no way it would reach the start of the first Strip if it was fixed where I wanted it, some 6 feet above the floor. I had fix the start of the first Strip close to the 13amp socket. So the LED Lights run up the corner wall to the facia. The alternative would be to buy a 3.5 mm Jack extension lead in white ? After this glitch, luckily the two Strips reached all the way round the Facias without any hassle. Setting up the Wi Fi and Alexa was made easier by the excellent Instructions, coupled with the fact I had set up a Philips Bridge etc only recently , so knew basically what I had to do. Amazingly that all went to Plan.In use The Phone App is perfect. Alexa controls the new lights too. The Remote Control works, but only when in sight of the "Receiver-Eye" which is very close to the Wi Fi Adaptor. Again a longer thin cable with the "Eye" on it would allow for much more use of the Remote Control. Although Alexa will be in control of everything I'm sure.

Brilliant product, really really good.I was a little dubious about these as I was expecting them to be a real pain to install and temperamental to set up. How wrong I was!Simple setup, plug in, cut to size, peel off the tape backing and away you go. The remotes are simple to use and one works with several light strips (although you are supplied with one remote per strip). Cutting to size is easy too - just cut where the scissor sign is.The WiFi app is slightly finicky but still simple to set up. There’s loads of options on there and millions of colours to choose from.The only downside I would say - and it’s minir - is that the tape on the back of the strip isn’t overly sticky. It would be nice to have some that was really tacky.Overall I’ll be recommending this product to everyone I know because of the ease of setup and the effect it adds to your room.Perfect!!

Firstly, its a really great idea, that you can control it with your phone-Packaging-Pretty simple, but it came in a nice carboard box with everything you need inside.No branding, but Im very happy it wasnt a plastic bag.Everything that you need comes in the box.-Details-Setting it up is quite complicated, but comapred to what you are doing, it is really quite cool.You get given quite a lot of wire and you can use them normally if you want.The colours are very vibrant.Controlling it with your phone is easy, but fun as well, as people dont understand how they are chaging colour like they do.Really good fun

I installed them under kitchen wall units as work top lighting. Well packaged and presented plus easy installation with the supplied clips. Voice control via Google home or the app is faultless so far.Work well as lighting but the standard light colours for various white colour temperatures are not quite right as 'daylight' appears quite blue to me but as it is easy to set virtually any colour you want via the app. this was not a big issue.Extra note: Customer service excellent! - There was a fault with the first LED strip I received but the supplier responded to my email immediately and a replacement was sent to me straight away

I bought this as a trial, and after the initial installation I am extremely happy.The idea was to have an led strip that can be controlled by Alexa and so does it's job well.Does Hue offer more? YesDo I want to pay twice the price for half the length of light in the initial start-up pack? NoThe only downside I can see at this point is that I can't schedule the lights to go on and off. But I may be able to use another service to do that.

These were for my Grandsons room the lights are great, I was expecting a 10m long string not two 5m. The only other comment I have is the glue on the lights to attach them to the wall was not strong enough and they were dropping down solved the problem super glue.

These are really very good. Bought for my son's room and they were easy to put up and he followed the instructions to enable use via his phone which means they can do all manner of cool changes, play along to music, respond to voice etc. We're both really pleased with them - they look amazing around the room.

Installation is really easy, the remote control is great. The instructions how to use the phone app to connect to the controller could have been a bit clearer, but I got there in the end. Really happy with the product though, I love that you can set schedules to turn the lights on/off and the wide variety of preset colour combinations.

These lights are terrific, they are so bright. They work perfectly with the app and are so easy to set up. They interact with music and the colours dance with the beat.

The lights look great, the conectivity with the phone and Alexa doesn’t really work that well which is disappointing, took a lot of work to connect the lights to the WiFi

Bought one 2 months a ago for the waterfall, within 2 days all the lights were scrambled with different lights, and became unresponsive for alexa or even the app.

Used as a backlight around kitchen cabinets.The LED strip is 5m exactly with two connectors mounted at the ends.

Apart from the adhesive on the back of the lights not up for the job, the lights themselves are excellent.

The lights perform better than I expected. Set up and connected to wifi and Alexa in under five minutes. Very clear instructions helped. Will be purchasing more.

Started off great for a month, then the bulbs started turning yellow.EDIT: following the above review the seller got in touch and offered a free replacement.

Followed instructions on how to cut along the line and then it all went off.
