I regret buying this, it will not gel and must have very low mucilage content. I have tried heating for over 15 mins it at high concentrations and you can see it remains powdery and gritty. Also it is not refundable or returnable = absolute waste of money and time.

I have only been using this slippery elm powder for about a week. I think the flavor of the slippery elm bark is fine. Sort of earthy flavor. Not distasteful at all. Mixes easily with warm water with a small wisk. I am using for stomach inflation and it really help for me. I am taking this slippery elm bark about an hour before bedtime as suggested to coat my stomach. It is a nice warm drink that I have no trouble wanting to take. This organic slippery elm bark powder is hands down the best out there. So far this is the genuine slippery elm powder I can find that made from the inner bark of the slippery tree. When I mix this slippery elm powder in to a glass water and mix it. It becomes gel like consistency, which is a great sign that this slippery elm powder is made only from inner bark. I take a spoonful of this slippery elm powder and add it to my favourite fruit smoothies and sometime I add sweetener to make it taste better and thinner. I also add it to my tea sometimes. Adding this to your beverages does not change the taste. I have been taking this for few days and I'm happy with it , will keep buying it. I would recommend to anyone looking for good quality organic slippery elm powder.
