Blind Spot Detection is a great feature
I've owned several dashcam systems, including on my last car - a 4-channel commercial DVR with a custom video switcher triggered by a keypad or my turn signals, to activate two 3" monitors showing my blind spots from two mirror mounted cameras. It was over the top but - when that car was totaled, I wasn't looking forward to buying all those expensive bits or the several weekends and evenings it took to route wires and make things work. This dashcam promised blind spot detection (BSD) in a 2 camera system, and at the price of a 2 camera dashcam that didn't have BSD. So I thought it was worth a shot. I also purchased the optional hardwire kit to enable 24/7 time lapse recording plus battery drain protection, which are more features setting it apart. I've had it installed a few days now, and I'm pretty impressed. The last two days were commute days, and I have to travel on a heavily congested several miles of highway with aggressive NY drivers during rush hour, so the BSD is a big focus of my review. But first, the actual camera - I haven't pulled any video off of it yet, but one concern that I have is that the camera is a 4K front and 1080P rear, but when I enabled the BSD I saw a warning appear stating that when either ADAS or BSD were activated, 4K recording wasn't possible. I'm not sure if the limitation is the processing inside, but in my particular case this is less of a concern, as I'm just needing enough resolution to ensure I have video to serve as evidence in the event of any traffic circumstance resulting in what would otherwise be a "he said/she said" argument. I haven't pulled video from the camera yet to comment on it. The BSD so far seems excellent. The rear view is on and I mounted it so it is visible just below my rear view mirror. When the BSD is on, the bottom of the screen is overlaid with a blue area in the center, and two green areas, one on each side. As vehicles appear in the rear view, they are tracked with green square outlines, and when they enter the green areas, a sound plays (there are settings to turn that off) and the green area turns orange, with a slight orange pulsation coming from the edge to call your attention to the vehicle in your blind spot. Initially I'm the type of guy to disable all annoying sounds, but so far I feel like they even got that right - it gets your attention without being annoying, and I saw a setting to change the volume as well, but the default is pretty good with me so far. I haven't disabled sounds yet and even think I may leave those on. Way less annoying than a radar detector. I have the back camera mounted in the rear window of a MINI Clubman, and I was concerned with the glass being right at the back edge of the vehicle, that the actual blind spot area would be compromised. However, it seems to do a pretty excellent job. There were possibly one or two times when I believe a car was in my blind spot that it didn't detect, but in retrospect I believe this is because the system tracks cars approaching from the rear and entering your blind spot. Vehicles that you pass and end up in your blind spot don't necessarily end up identified, but if they end up behind you then they re-approach the system alerts you. Overall that's very good, since cars you pass you are inherently aware of. and the rear camera can't see them until they are back there. I'm very pleased so far with the BSD feature. I also can't comment on the ADAS feature for a couple reasons: 1) The BSD and ADAS are mutually exclusive. You can't enable both at the same time. That makes sense because there's only one screen and so it can only display the front camera or the rear camera - can't do both. But that's a limitation to be aware of. 2) In my case that's OK, because it's the BSD I want, and I don't care about the ADAS. On the other hand, it would have been a nice-to-have to also have that emergency braking notification. If it were possible to enable, I would - but I can't, so it is what it is. Overall, this seems very nice quality. The settings are easy to navigate and set. My experience with other dashcams, I'm sure the basic functionality is fine for recording, and the 24 hour time lapse is a feature above and beyond others - and the BSD saved me from hundreds of dollars of 4 channel commercial DVR equipment, hours of wiring integrated cameras and video switchers tied to car ECU wired turn signal detect wiring - and so far it seems to work well.

Great camera system with good aftersales support and care.
The Pelsee P3 is a pretty great dashcam system. It's quite compact, and records clear video from both front and rear for a very reasonable price. The additional features of safety features such as BSD and ADAS is pretty nice, with their sensitivity being pretty reasonable. What did stand out, though was their customer support. After using the unit for a couple of months, it started to have some boot looping issues. When I contacted support, they helped with some troubleshooting. After not being able to resolve the issue, they shipped me a full replacement kit.

This is an Outstanding Dash Cam
The Pelsee P3 is an excellent dash cam in terms of ease of installation, function, video quality and value. I was very impressed at how easy it was to install, pair, and operate. The instructions were a snap to follow and the kit came with ample cable length and attachment contents to ensure a tidy installation. I purchased two P3 models; one for my truck and one for my wife's car. The dash cam in my wife's 2025 Toyota Camry proved to be invaluable when she was involved in a rush hour hit and run accident caused by a large construction truck. The rear camera captured the truck approaching and swerving into the side of her car, causing it to spin 360 degrees and hit the car beside her. As she came to a stop, the front camera captured the truck driving away. Thankfully, the high quality video revealed clear identification of the truck that police and insurance were able to follow up on. The Pelsee P3 came through as the big hero in producing compelling proof of the hit and run, and that my wife was not at fault with hitting the car beside her. Needless to say, I am sold on this camera because it flat out works great, even after a collision that totalled two cars, and delivers when an unfortunate accident occurs.

THERE IS NO 24 HR PARKING MODE!
I work at a very busy building in which I needed a camera that came with 24 hour mode installed already. This camera requires a whole entire ACC hardwire kit separately in order for 24 hour mode to be a feature. Unfortunately, they put it in such fine print that I figured it out the hard way after installing. Other than that, the camera is good quality & it’s relatively easy to install. The wires hide very easy & barely show. The camera is clear, & not bulky but if you have CarPlay also beware that the WiFi might disconnect and you cannot use the app while your car is on/carplay is active. At least that’s how my car is. A couple small cons to this camera which sucks considering is it a decently priced but good quality camera. If these features are not a bother to you then I think this camera is awesome for the price!

Gaps in Recording — BUT EXCELLENT Customer Service
UPDATE: Pelsee customer service is EXCELLENT!!! They worked with me trying to troubleshoot and followed me back very step of the way until I got a perfectly working camera. I’m changing my one star to a five star because of their phenomenal service and firmly standing behind their product. Original review: I loved this dash cam because the images are so clear and the app is so easy to use. However, after a couple of recent incidents involving near misses I’ve witnessed and reckless drivers, I discovered that on the 2 minute loop, the camera records for 2 minutes, then pauses for two minutes, then records 2 minutes. Both near miss episodes were in the 2 minute gaps! The recordings clearly show the maps and time, but looking back on my recording today where something happened at 7:25, I had a recording at 7:22 that ended at 7:24 and again 7:26 to 7:28. Wouldn’t you know it, the same car almost hit someone else at what would have been the 7:28.30 mark. Instead, I get the next recording is a clear picture of my car pulling into the driveway to park at 7:30. I’ve set the camera to the one minute default loop & crossing my fingers that any accidents don’t happen in those one minute gaps. It’s too late to return, since I got it in August and couldn’t get anyone to install it until around Christmas when everyone was visiting. I’ve contacted Pelsee customer service through Amazon over a month ago to ask for help, but not heard back. Very disappointed because this camera had so many great reviews and seems so easy to operate.

Great value and easy to use
I bought 2 (1 for me and 1 for my wife) and was happy with the quality of the packaging and cameras. The picture quality is better than I expected, but don't bank on clear license plate visuals 100% of the time. Some may appreciate the driver assist features, but I don't use them. I tested the features and they work but I found them to be more annoying. The app is easy to use. The file thumbnails take a bit long to load sometimes, but just select the time stamp you want and the photo or video appears rather quickly. I definitely feel the Pelsee P3 is a great value for the money spent. After a bit the cameras started having issues; black screen but still recording; not responding to voice commands; and no WIFI signal. I reached out to Pelsee support and we worked together to get the issues resolved. I answered questions, sent them pictures, and they sent software updates. I let them know what did or didn't work throughout the process and they were very receptive and very willing to find a resolution. I have no doubt they will be as equally as helpful if any more issues present themselves.

Not enough memory
After having this camera for a while, I had to downgrade my review. Here's why: The camera worked fine for a month or so. Originally, I thought my only issue was with storage space, but I was wrong. I found out that the reason my storage filled up so quickly, that I didn't have 24 hrs worth of recordings even while using a 256mb memory card, was that the camera would randomly lock videos that it would save and not override. No matter how often I would go and delete these videos. Whatever it would record it'd lock, and wouldn't record over them. And after a while, it just stopped recording altogether. I also had the camera hardwired. After I had to replace my car battery the 3rd time in 6 months, I realized that it was the camera that was draining and ruining them. To summarize: Within 6 months it stopped recording and killed 3 batteries. Resolution was never high enough to make out license plates in any of the recordings. With the hardwire kit, extra memory card and all the dead batteries this camera cost me about $600. And now it's trash. The camera itself is good enough for the money. The storage however, is horrible. I replaced the memory card that the camera came with with a 256 GB one. I set the camera to the lowest resolution. It's 3pm. I wanted to look at footage from 8 am this morning, but my files only go back to 10 am. That's horrible. If you don't have time to save a video right away, it's gone. I had this problem when the camera was set to the highest resolution. So I changed the resolution to the lowest setting, thinking this way I'll get more footage. Nope. This makes the parking monitor function useless too, if you work more than a 5 hr shift, which most of us do.
