Excellent value, easy to assemble
I don't leave many reviews at all, but I wanted to leave one for this bookcase, as I remember being uncertain about buying it due to no reviews.My handyman put this together yesterday, it only took him 20 minutes, he commented on how few pieces there were. You never know what you're going to get buying flat pack furniture online, but he commented that this bookcase seems thick and sturdy and I agree. The lighting is pretty cool -- you can change the color, adjust the brightness, and it has an "induction" button you can turn on or off, which is basically a motion sensor. so it lights up when you walk near the bookcase and it turns off if you're away for 30 seconds. All the lighting options are . . . optional.I put this in my son's room, I think it looks perfect. Can't comment on durability since we just assembled it yesterday, but so far, so good.

Fairly easy to assemble
I needed a bookshelf for my office, and this fit the bill. It is very clean looking and the lights are an added bonus. It is very sturdy and holds a significant number of books. Which is its job, so points for that.

Sturdier then most
easy assembly, sturdier then most saucer shelves, looks very nice, solid. It is heavy though so the average person shouldn’t move it by themselves

terrible, parts don't align, pre drilled sections weren't complete.
I have assembled NUMEROUS pieces of furniture and this is, by far, the worst I have EVER seen. At each step of the way, despite following the usual precautions such as hand tightening, and leaving things slightly loose, there were consistantly more than 1 element which do not align, such as the camera shafts and the holes on the board that is being attached that way. In addition, 6 of the cam shaft holes were not drilled through. It was necessary to take the halfway assembled product completely apart and attempt to assemble it using another common sequence for similar products, but this also had the same problems with alignment. It's a shame, because it had nice design elements, such as the embedded lights. The company did approve the return, though they expect me to take it back apart and pack it. I don't know if they are charging for the return, I will be sure to come back and post if that is the case. Anyhow, save yourself a bunch of time and money and get something else.

Perfect for behind our couch!
Item was just as pictured. The light function is nice and I love how adjustable they are. Quick and easy to assemble. Seems durable. Great price for such a big unit.

Awesome bookshelf!
It’s wonderful! Took about an hour or so to assemble- extra hardware included (even a screwdriver). Great price - great addition to our room! Thank you!
