Huge starting torque needed
This unit requires a high torque to get it to spin. Much more than a conventional ac alternator. Probably ok on a car but it would not turn when connected to my steam engine

Doesn't comr close to 14v
Does not pull 14v at any RPM. Fluctuates between 12-13. Not worth the trouble installing

Only got it to put out 17 amps max at 12v definitely not 1500 watts coming out of this but does work
