ASC529 4-Position Backpack Lace-Up Suspension Folding Beach Chair

We just took two of these chairs to the beach and loved them! They are comfortable and sturdy and fairly easy to get in and out of since they are a bit higher than most beach chairs. The only downside is that you can only close them by grasping the bottom of the legs which leaves your hands sandy. They have a small water bottle holder and it would be nice if there was a small zippered pouch somewhere on this chair. There is a nice sized backpack on the back of the chair which is great for carrying a beach towel and book, which leaves your other hand free for a small cooler or drink. We did not use the backpack carrying feature as it was too cumbersome to get the chair on and off of our backs. All in all, I give these chairs five stars!

We used these for a week in Florida and loved them! They are lightweight but sturdy, are very comfortable, and fold/unfold easily. The backpack straps are essential, because we are always carrying several other things to and from the beach. The cup holders are great, and the zipper on the side allows the cup holder size to grow or shrink to accommodate almost any can, cup, or bottle. I saw a few other people at the beach with this exact same chair.

I read a lot of Amazon reviews before making purchases. I wasn't 100% sure about these chairs, but have no regrets now that we've used them several times. They look incredibly well-made, are fairly light, easy to carry (my husband bungees them together and carries both at once), and are sooo comfortable. Husband is a tall man, 210-230 pounds, and he loves the chair and feels completely secure in it. I'm comparatively short, and the chair also fits me well. Plus the pouch on the back is handy in many situations! The only real negative is the cup holder is a bit flimsy. It works perfectly fine for most purposes, but can kind of lean to the side because it isn't very stiff. For example, we were on a hill watching fireworks and I had to catch my drink before it spilled over the edge. A very minor issue, but something to be aware of if you expect 5 star cupholder service.

I looked at my chairs including Tommy Bahamas and decided to buy this one because with the specs and reviews, it seemed like the best value for my money...for what I need, at least. It seems like some have chairs have better this or that, bit then they didn't have some other feature I'd like...you probably know what I'm saying if you're beach chair shopping too. I ended up choosing this one because of: 1.) how lightweight it is, which is nice if I am walking a bit to get to my sit spot. 2.) the backpack straps are decently comfortable too. 3.) Easy to open and close, haven't pinched my fingers yet! 4.) Comfortable seat and what you'd expect for a beach chair. 5.) Has a pouch in the back, which isn't a cooler or anything like some chairs have, but fine to hold a towel or something so you can walk to the beach with your hands free 6.) The headrest and recliner are easily adjusted. Adjustable headset is awesome, because they usually dont fit me well at the standard height and ruin a seat for me. The cup holder is a little bit ridiculous, i don't think it's designed well for most cups and situations. I don't use it but it doesn't make me hate this chair. I like to also pop it open in my kiddie pool and sit in there :) All in all, a good chair.

These are Great Chairs. I have a Villa management company in the US Virgin Islands and purchase approximately 80 of these chairs every year. They get very high usage in a very harsh environment. Salt, Sand and very high UV index. It has been extremely noted that the colors that have white webbing straps on them do not work well in the harsh Caribbean sun and the straps disintegrate do to the sun here. It has been noted that the Navy color that comes with black straps hold up well in the sun. So It would be my recommendation to the manufacture to use the black straps on all colors.

I have used it on the beach a few times. It is a very nice chair. I love the pocket on the back. It is big enough to put a smaller beach towel and other accessories in to keep out of the sand. It is nice to have the backpack carry on it so you put all of the items in the pocket and your hands are free to carry other items. It is lightweight and easy to set up. It is sturdy and is comfortable for a person who is 5ft to 6ft 6in.

This Rio beach chair is so much better than the alike looking Tommy Bahama chair. The Rio has nylon suspension straps under the seat and back. These support much more weight and don't tear through like my TB. This is my 2nd and has out lasted 4 TB. Very sturdy.

This low-rider beach chair is just the ticket for a day on the sand. Padded, backpack-style straps and a click-it strap to keep the chair folded closed ensure it’s easy to transport on & off the sand, lightweight but sturdy construction keeps you from feeling like a Sherpa lugging it on the beach and the chair is sturdy and comfortable while you are lounging in the chair. The pocket on back is super convenient for stowing birds and pieces from scavenging seagulls and the Velcro attached pillow is a nice add-on. Note: You do need to make sure the chair is completely reclined and give the legs a solid tug to colapse the chair when you are ready to call it a day. If you are too dainty to give it a strong enough tug, you may find it a bit frustrating to collapse the chair. This is not an Incredible Hulk situation but be prepared to put a smidgeon of effort into drawing the legs together. It will work out fine once you get the hang of it.

The chair is very comfortable, easy to carry and the pouch on the back means you can go to the beach without an extra bag if you travel light or walk. The only problem was that on one of the bags the clasp that holds the chair shut when folded failed to work on the very first day of use - it simply didn't hold it closed. Still happy with the chair, but thought that was worth mentioning (it would have scored 5 stars if not for that).

These chairs are perfect for the beach. Light weight but sturdy. They get you off the sand and have 4 positions of recline and are very comfortable. The cup holder, pillow and storage bag are nice features.

Muy cómodas. Valen la pena.

Las sillas Río antes traían la tela de lona más gruesa, ahora hasta se transparenta, se sienten más delicadas. Por eso las 4 estrellas. De ahí en fuera, muy bien.
