If you are in the market for a new headset, you've just found it.
I'm a little hard to impress, especially when it comes to audio, but this was definitely worth the purchase. To begin, I'm an audio enthusiast with a very discerning ear that I was trained for through my job. These don't even come close to my UE5C's, but at less than 10% the price, I'm sold.Im using these with my HT Omega Claro with the Oxygen HD Chip, so YRMV as mine in an audiophile grade sound card. Now lets get down to it:Pro's:- Sound is incredible for a pair of $27 cans.- The bass is a little much without an equalizer, but it does not get muffled at full volume without one. If you hear clipping (distortion) on the bass, it's your sound source (either digital file or the hardware itself) and not the headphones. I have my software volume at 100%, computer volume at 100%, the inline volume control at 100%, with each ear's volume control at 100% as well, and it is VERY clear without distortion.-For gaming, my audio card is not the greatest at positional audio for gaming, but it does well enough that I can tell if something is behind me or to which side the noise is coming from (playing Amnesia gave me the creeps with this a few minutes ago, which is why I'm writing this review to begin with...it's too good not to let people know).-The ear cushions are comfortable enough. they fit completely around my ears (and I have normal to large ears that stick out a little). I don't foresee these becoming uncomfortable due to the ear cushions during long gaming sessions.CONS:-I can see what people were saying about them being tight. They are not terribly tight but I can understand how people could get annoyed by them. Time will tell if they loosen up a little over time, as I've only had these for 6 hours now. That's really about it.Observations that are neither pro's nor cons:-The top is not padded as others have posted. There is a little "sleeve" of slick rubber that will sit on your head. It is not uncomfortable to me, but if you must have some padding there, just grab a dish rag or something and put it there...some people are just very picky. you paid less than $30 for these and you want all of the bells and whistles from an equivalent sounding $100 pair of cans. get over yourself and be creative to make up for what these dont have.If you want great sound for a cheap price, these are absolutely the best I have seen at this price point, and if these break, I know exactly what I will purchase again....these.

Best Performance for the Price.
Been using my pair with my PC and PS4 for over 24 hours of use now so I can give a fair opinion of what I really think of these.Pros: First off, the sound quality is unmatched by any other headset at this price. This has the same sound quality as my old $70 pair of razer's. I haven't gotten anything but good feedback from friends about the microphone quality and volume, and sounds better than the razer microphone. The leather like cushions block out a good deal of sound and keep a lot of sound from bleeding out for others to hear. The mute mic function is very useful if you need something like that.Cons: The headset is wired, so you will need something like an astro mixamp to hook it up to the xbox one or PS4 like how I have it. The headband has zero padding and starts irritating the top of my head after an hour. The padding in the ear cushions feels like the cheap firm kind that you find on a $5 pair of headphones, and I almost feel like ripping them off and putting my own on there. If you have a wide head, that will be a problem because the headband does not extend that far and feels like it will break if you put to much strain.Final Thoughts: If you just need a headset with the best performance in terms of audio/mic quality, then this is it. If you want something more comfortable or say something more sturdy, then you will have to pay premium. I'm happy with these, but will be buying 3rd party ear pads to put on because I game at least 3 hours at a time.

Great headset
Pros:Sound quality is very good. I can hear all the sounds in the games I play and the music I listen to.Construction feels solid and feels like it will last.Ear-cups are comfortable and provide excellent noise cancelling. I can't hear anything outside of my headset unless it's very loud.Padded ear-cups are very comfortable. At 6'7'' I may have a larger than normal head. The only con for me is that the headset is a little small.Cons:Headset is a little small for my head. To have the ear-cups around my ears I have to extend the headset as large as it will go and then pull it down so the top part is pushing against my head. After a couple hours it is a little uncomfortable. I think with some extra padding it would be perfect.

Really nice, I don't know what happened.
I used this practically everyday for about 2 months and the mic just stopped working on it. It wasn't damaged in any way, shape, or form, it just started getting really unclear to hear myself on the other end for a couple hours and straight died. Checked the mic input on my laptop and that wasn't the issue so I really don't know what happened.Other than what happened to me, I would consider this headset to anyone who isn't afraid of getting a faulty one like I got. It's pretty decent for the money you pay for up until something like this happens. The sound quality is pretty good, it cancels outside noise decently and the mic is clear when it's functional.

Great sound; dead microphone
The headset is very comfortable (and I'm pretty sensitive) and has great sound with great separation. But the microphone doesn't work; there's only a high-pitched buzzing. Yes, I played with the mute switch, which only made my system think I've unplugged/plugged in the microphone (it did silence the buzzing, but what good is that?) Since I don't use the microphone very often, and my old set still works, (and I got this for a great price,) I'm not going to bother sending it back, but it was disappointing, to say the least. If you buy this, make sure you test the microphone right away, like I should have!

Good Quality but comfort is a problem.
Ordered these headphones because my old Plantronics Gamecom headset started giving me problems. I thought this was a great deal and I ordered them after watching some reviews. The microphone is a tad quiet, but the sound quality it very good. The main problem I find is the tough plastic top rest and stiff ear pieces make this headset extremely uncomfortable. That is the only problem I see so far. Nice thick cords so that they wont be tangled easy.

Genius HS-G550 Rocks....Deep Bass
Firstly,The product came in good shape , packaging and on time.So Thanks to amazon and ROCKY MARKETING .Now about headphones,I simply love the headphones with there superb cushion ear-cups which fits very well on ear(no discomfort).Headphones have good treble and deep bass, you will actually feel the base and the surrounding sound is so good on these headphones. The folding pattern of this headphones really makes it different from the line of other headphones.I have used Sennheiser hd 201 - 205 , Steelseries V1 , Jbl tempo. But this one is best out of all in each point except if you want headphones only for gaming than go with Steelseries v1,but these are also good in gaming.Cable length is fine.Good looks and build quality. Finally satisfied with the purchase.
