This is an experimenter kit like something you might see in a technical school for training, so if you are studying electronics these are excellent for studying reactance. These are typically used for filters along with capacitors. Tolerances are close enough for most applications and there is an excellent assortment for tweaking your filters to perfection.

Came as advertised but I wish there were markings on the casing to tell you their inductance

Power surges had caused an inductor on my Maytag dryer's control board to melt and lean onto one of the capacitors which led to a nonfunctional control panel. The package arrived in good condition and once I removed the old components and installed the new ones, the board is working again. I'm no electrician and electronics aren't my strongest area, but I was able to at least get the components in the old solder. It took a bit, but the board works like new.

I measured a few inductors and they were spot on. Great value. It is nice to have different values on-hand. I suppose it is less expensive to not mark the parts with their inductance. Would prefer to have that and pay more.
